Worth knowing
Brite
- The free plan is capped at 3 habits, 3 goals, 5 projects and 3 task reminders, with schedule and day calendar views only.
- Google Calendar and Apple Calendar sync, week and month views, kanban view, file uploads and backups all need Premium.
- The US App Store lists different in-app prices from the website, such as $5.99 for 1 month and $39.99 for 1 year, plus a separate $39.99 purchase named AI Features for 1 Year.
- The Teams page quotes $4 per user / month for teams of 5 or more and free use below that, a price the pricing page itself does not list.
Hero Assistant
- The App Store listing is marked as only for iPhone, and the vendor's pages mention no web, Mac or Windows version.
- The FAQ says the Android app is not at feature parity with iOS yet, and social features are among the missing parts.
- SuperHero prices appear only as store in-app purchases ($0.99 to $53.99 on the US App Store, $0.99 to $35.99 on Google Play) with no billing periods.
- The day can be viewed offline, but the FAQ says most changes require an internet connection.
Key features
Brite
- Tasks and projects
- Separate personal and work task widgets with reminders, subtasks, tags and due dates. Projects group tasks, and Premium adds a kanban view and file uploads.
- Calendar views and sync
- Schedule and day views are free. Week and month views, recurring events and sync with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar are Premium features.
- Habit and goal trackers
- The habit tracker comes with more than 80 preset habits and shows streaks. Goals can be set by day, week, month or year. The free plan allows 3 of each.
- Mood diary and guided meditations
- The mood diary records how you feel and why, with statistics over time. Free accounts get 1 mood entry and 1 guided meditation a week.
- Quick Add
- A task typed in plain language with its date and time, such as a call tomorrow at 5pm, is placed on the calendar.
- Pomodoro timer
- A focus timer for 25-minute work sprints with built-in breaks. The comparison table marks it as limited on the free plan.
Hero Assistant
- One daily feed
- To-dos, calendar events, notes, habits, a morning Daily Brief and the weather forecast appear together in a single feed instead of separate apps.
- Two-way calendar sync
- Connects Google Calendar, Apple Calendar (iCloud) and Outlook in real time, so changes made in Hero go back to the source calendar and the reverse.
- Can't Miss alerts
- A to-do, habit or event marked as Can't Miss raises a critical alert that plays through Silent mode and Do Not Disturb and stays until it is acted on.
- Habits with shared accountability
- Habits can repeat hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. A shared link lets friends or family opt in to be notified when a habit is missed.
- Capture by voice or photo
- A spoken phrase with a day and time becomes a structured task or event, and photos of handwriting, whiteboards or screenshots are turned into notes, tasks or events.
- Grocery lists with Instacart ordering
- Items are grouped by aisle as they are added, and the list can be ordered through Instacart. SuperHero users get 5% cash back on those orders.
