Who each one suits

Hero Assistant

  • People who want calendar, to-dos, habits and notes in one phone app
  • Couples and families sharing to-dos, notes and calendars
  • Anyone who needs reminders that sound through Silent mode

Tiimo

  • People with ADHD or autism who want a visual schedule instead of a plain list
  • iPhone and Apple Watch users who want timers and tasks in widgets
  • Families sharing one subscription across several profiles

Worth knowing

Hero Assistant

  • The App Store listing is marked as only for iPhone, and the vendor's pages mention no web, Mac or Windows version.
  • The FAQ says the Android app is not at feature parity with iOS yet, and social features are among the missing parts.
  • SuperHero prices appear only as store in-app purchases ($0.99 to $53.99 on the US App Store, $0.99 to $35.99 on Google Play) with no billing periods.
  • The day can be viewed offline, but the FAQ says most changes require an internet connection.

Tiimo

  • Tiimo publishes no price list. Prices vary by location and are shown at checkout in the App Store, Google Play or the web planner.
  • The free version works on the iOS and Android apps only. The web planner needs an active trial or Tiimo Pro subscription.
  • The AI Co-planner is available on iOS and the web app only, not on Android.
  • There is no Windows app. The Mac version is the App Store app, which requires macOS 15 and an Apple M1 chip or later.

Key features

Hero Assistant

One daily feed
To-dos, calendar events, notes, habits, a morning Daily Brief and the weather forecast appear together in a single feed instead of separate apps.
Two-way calendar sync
Connects Google Calendar, Apple Calendar (iCloud) and Outlook in real time, so changes made in Hero go back to the source calendar and the reverse.
Can't Miss alerts
A to-do, habit or event marked as Can't Miss raises a critical alert that plays through Silent mode and Do Not Disturb and stays until it is acted on.
Habits with shared accountability
Habits can repeat hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. A shared link lets friends or family opt in to be notified when a habit is missed.
Capture by voice or photo
A spoken phrase with a day and time becomes a structured task or event, and photos of handwriting, whiteboards or screenshots are turned into notes, tasks or events.
Grocery lists with Instacart ordering
Items are grouped by aisle as they are added, and the list can be ordered through Instacart. SuperHero users get 5% cash back on those orders.

Tiimo

Visual timeline
The day appears as a color-coded timeline with drag-and-drop tasks and custom colors and icons. The web planner adds daily, weekly and monthly views.
AI Co-planner
Type or speak what is on your mind and the Co-planner turns it into tasks, breaks them into steps and estimates how long each takes. Free accounts get limited AI chats.
To-do list
A to-do tab collects tasks that are not yet scheduled. They can be prioritized by hand or by AI suggestion, then dragged into the day.
Focus timer
A visual countdown for the current task. Timers and upcoming tasks also show in widgets, Live Activities and on Apple Watch.
Calendar import
Brings Apple, Google and Outlook calendars into the schedule, and the App Store listing also mentions Apple Reminders. Tiimo lists calendar integration as a Pro feature.
Mood tracking and profiles
Mood check-ins and daily reflections sit alongside the plan. Pro accounts can hold up to five profiles, for example one per family member.
