Value for money
BAdvanced, the first plan with one-off Quick Support sessions for clients, is $6.67 per technician a month billed annually, plus $1.50 a year for each permanent device. For the same job that's less than Zoho Assist, Splashtop or TeamViewer charge one technician. Only RustDesk's free client undercuts it.
CNo price or licence terms could be read: the website answered our reader with a bot check from the US and a not-sold-here notice from India. That's the C we give any missing price, with no figure to set against RustDesk or ScreenConnect for the same job.
Free plan and trial
BThe free plan never runs out: one technician, 2 devices, no limit on session time, multi-monitor and chat. That's enough to reach two of your own computers for good. Supporting clients is where it stops, as Quick Support isn't included, though there's a 14-day business trial.
CThe Host module and the phone Viewer apps are free to install, and the phone app is free for work too. How many computers a free licence covers couldn't be read, so we can't say how far it gets you.
Features
CPermanent access with Wake-on-LAN, Quick Support by link, terminal mode, a file manager, branding and an HTTP API. The gaps it lists itself: there's no iPhone or iPad agent, so those can only connect through a browser, and Standard leaves out Quick Support.
CConnections by Internet-ID or IP address, a self-hosted server, resumable file transfer, power controls, screen blanking and detailed address books. It covers the basics of administering machines, but the listing shows no on-demand support sessions or recording.
Ease of use
BNo App Store rating on record. You work from a browser tab with nothing to install on your end, and a client joins a session from an invitation link or code, so there's very little to set up.
CNo App Store rating on record. Host modules, Internet-IDs, address book templates and an optional server of your own: powerful, but it's an admin's tool with a learning curve.
Platforms and integrations
BWeb, Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and a Chrome extension, plus an HTTP API and plugins for Telegram, LiveChat and Jira Service Desk. No iPhone or iPad app, which keeps it off an A.
BHosts on Windows, Mac and Linux, and free viewer apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. There's no web app, integration list or API on record.

Who each one suits

Getscreen.me

  • IT teams supporting staff or clients from a browser, without installing a viewer
  • Managed service providers who want to pay per technician and per device
  • Individuals who want a one-time licence for up to 50 of their own devices
  • Large organizations that need to host the remote access server themselves

Remote Utilities

  • System administrators managing many Windows, Mac and Linux machines
  • Organizations that want remote access relayed through their own server
  • Reaching your own computers from a phone or tablet over the internet or LAN

Worth knowing

Getscreen.me

  • Paid plans charge per device on top of each technician seat, so the bill grows with the number of computers you keep permanent access to.
  • The Standard plan does not include Quick Support for one-off client sessions; that needs Advanced or above.
  • The self-hosted server is sold only on the Enterprise plan with annual billing, with a minimum of 500 devices or 10 technicians.
  • There is an Android agent but no iOS agent is listed; iPhones and iPads can connect only through a browser.

Remote Utilities

  • The vendor's website answered with a bot check from the US and a notice from India, so no prices or licence terms could be read; this listing has none.
  • Remote Utilities says its software and services are not available in some locations; visitors from India were told it is not sold there.
  • The Host module runs on Windows, macOS and Linux; the iPhone, iPad and Android apps are for connecting to those computers.
