Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.8
GPA, above 48 of the 69 other daily planner apps we grade
24me is a mobile personal organizer that lists calendar events, tasks and notes together on one calendar. It connects to Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, Yahoo Calendar and Apple iCal, and sends alerts such as when to leave for a meeting given the traffic, weather warnings and a summary of the next day's agenda. The app is free on iPhone, iPad and Android, with a Premium subscription for extras such as email-to-task and location-based reminders.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about 24me, taken from its own pages and our grades.
Everything lands on one calendar, so there's a single place to look, and you can add a task by asking Siri or Alexa.
- 1
Best for one phone app for calendar, to-dos and notes
24me rolls your calendar, to-do list and notes into one phone app, so the meeting, the shopping list and "ring the plumber" all sit on the same day, and it sends time-to-leave alerts based on traffic.
- 2
Paid plans start at $4 a month when paid by the year
As its pricing page puts it: $7.99 per month, or $47.99 per year.
- 3
There is a free plan
Free to download on iPhone, iPad and Android with the calendar, to-do list and notes. Email to tasks, location-based reminders, nag alerts and timezone support are held back for Premium.
- 4
It runs on 2 platforms
iOS and Android.
- 5
One calendar for events, tasks and notes
Events, to-dos and notes are listed together on a calendar with several views, synced with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, Yahoo Calendar and Apple iCal.
- 6
To-do list with reminders
Tasks take color labels and multiple reminders and can be added by voice, including through Siri and Amazon Alexa. Turning an email into a task is part of Premium.
- 7
Notes and lists
Notes can hold text, photos, videos and voice recordings, cover things like shopping lists, and appear on the calendar next to events and tasks.
- 8
A 2.8 GPA, above 48 of 69
That is against the other daily planner apps we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

The report card
Best for one phone app for calendar, to-dos and notes
24me rolls your calendar, to-do list and notes into one phone app, so the meeting, the shopping list and "ring the plumber" all sit on the same day, and it sends time-to-leave alerts based on traffic. Most of it is free. But it lives on phones and watches only, email to tasks and location reminders need Premium at $7.99 a month, and its store price lists don't agree. Skip it if you plan at a computer.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Premium is $7.99 a month, the ordinary middle band for a planner here, or $47.99 a year, which halves it. What it adds is extras rather than essentials: email to tasks, location reminders, nag alerts, timezone support, printing. The App Store also lists 24me Pro items from $9.99 to $99.99 with no billing period. |
| Free plan and trial | A | The calendar, to-do list and notes are free on iPhone, iPad and Android with no limits spelled out. Premium holds back email to tasks, location reminders, nag alerts, timezone support and printing. |
| Features | B | Events, tasks and notes on one calendar, synced with Google, Outlook, Exchange, Yahoo and Apple calendars, voice capture through Siri and Alexa, traffic-aware time-to-leave alerts, a summary of tomorrow and shared lists. No time blocking or auto-scheduling, which the stricter planners here have. |
| Ease of use | B | 4.53 from about 6,800 App Store ratings. Everything lands on one calendar, so there's a single place to look, and you can add a task by asking Siri or Alexa. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS: phones, tablets and watches, and that's the lot. Neither the store listings nor the vendor's site mention a web, Mac or Windows app. It does sync with five calendar services and works with Siri and Alexa. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who 24me is for
- Fits if you want events, to-dos and notes on one calendar on your phone
- Works for families sharing grocery lists, chores and events
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you plan at a computer, because there's no web, Mac or Windows app
- Not for you if you want emails turned into tasks or location reminders without paying, as they're Premium
- Pricey if you pay monthly, at $7.99 against $47.99 for the whole year
- Watch out: the App Store also lists 24me Pro items from $9.99 to $99.99 with no billing period
- Too light for time blocking or auto-scheduling, which the listing doesn't show
Good to know
Good for
- People who want events, to-dos and notes on a single mobile calendar

- The App Store's in-app purchase list also shows items named 24me Pro from $9.99 to $99.99 with no billing period, and Google Play gives only a range of $7.99 to $64.99 per item.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of 24me you could make: calendar, tasks and notes. What surrounds it you could not. The 5 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 48 of the 69 other daily planner apps we grade. It costs $47.99 a year.
What you could make
- Calendar, tasks and notes: an app builder makes these well.
What you could not
- A real app for iOS and Android. Something home-made would be a web page.
- It plugs into other products, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange among them.
- Hooks into the device itself: Siri.
- Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. 24me’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
