Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.0

GPA, above 3 of the 30 other website and landing page builders we grade

Dorik generates a website with AI and lets you edit it in a no-code editor built from templates and UI blocks. It includes a CMS with custom collections, a blog that can import posts from WordPress, Medium, Ghost and Substack, SEO controls and an Airtable integration. Plans are priced by the number of custom domains, and the Agency plan adds a white-label dashboard and client billing.

To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Dorik, taken from its own pages and our grades.

The AI gives you a first draft, then it's templates and blocks in a no-code editor.

The report card

Best for blogs and CMS sites without code

Dorik builds a site with AI, then hands you a no-code editor with a proper CMS and a blog that can pull your posts in from WordPress, Medium, Ghost or Substack. It's $20.75 a month on yearly billing for one domain. There's no free plan, though, and Personal stops at 25 pages.

ToolGPA report cardDorikGraded Oct 17, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyCPersonal is $20.75 a month on yearly billing ($29 monthly) for one custom domain, near the dearer quarter of what builders charge. A lifetime deal sells the same plan for $249 once, but it's billed as a special offer, so we've graded the yearly price. Domains are bought elsewhere.
Free plan and trialCNo free plan. There's a 7-day trial with the full features and site limits of whichever plan you pick, and the listing doesn't say whether it wants a card. After that, every site needs a paid plan.
FeaturesCAI site generation, a no-code editor with UI blocks, a CMS with custom collections, a blog with imports, solid SEO controls, forms and a payment button. Good for content sites. But Personal caps a site at 25 pages and 5 collections, and selling stops at that payment button.
Ease of useCNo rating on record. The AI gives you a first draft, then it's templates and blocks in a no-code editor. Fine, but you're still building pages and setting up collections yourself.
Platforms and integrationsCA web app, and the integrations are thin: Airtable for site content, plus blog imports from WordPress, Medium, Ghost and Substack. No desktop or phone app is listed.
Grade point averageFair, out of 4.02.0

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who Dorik is for

  • Great if your site is mostly a blog and you're moving it from WordPress, Medium, Ghost or Substack
  • Handy when you want custom collections, like a directory or a recipe list, without code
  • Good for agencies that want a white-label dashboard and client billing, on Agency at $79

Who it is not for

  • Skip it if you want to sell products, as there's a payment button but no store in the listing
  • Tight if your site runs past 25 pages, which needs Business at $41.50 a month
  • Not for you if you want a free plan, as there's only a 7-day trial

Good to know

Good for

  • Bloggers and small businesses that want a CMS-backed site without code
  • Agencies reselling client sites under their own brand
  • Buyers who would rather pay once than subscribe, on the lifetime plans

Worth knowing

  • There is no free plan; after the 7-day trial every site needs a paid plan.
  • Personal covers 1 custom domain, 25 pages per site and no code export; Business allows 3 domains.
  • White-label dashboard and client billing need the Agency plan at $79 a month billed annually.
  • Dorik does not sell domains, so a custom domain has to be bought elsewhere.

Keep it, or make your own?

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.

Keep it

To replace Dorik you would be making a builder that other people can use without writing code. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 22 of the 30 other website and landing page builders grade higher. It costs $249 a year.

What you could make

  • Templates and forms: an app builder makes these well.

What you could not

  • A builder that other people can use without writing code.
  • It plugs into other products, Airtable, WordPress and Medium among them, and has an API.
  • AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
  • Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.

What this rests on. Dorik’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
