2.4
GPA, above 16 of the 30 other website and landing page builders we grade
Duda is a website builder made for agencies and freelancers who build and manage sites for their clients. An account plan unlocks the platform and includes one or four published sites, with more sites bought one at a time, and client accounts, team seats and white-labelling grow with the plan. Sites are hosted on AWS with unlimited storage and bandwidth, and AI tools write copy, generate sections and whole sites.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Duda, taken from its own pages and our grades.

The report card
Best for agencies that build and look after client sites
Duda is built for agencies and freelancers who make sites for clients, with one dashboard for all of them, client logins, reusable templates and, at the top, the whole platform under your own brand. One site on Basic is $19 a month on yearly billing. For a single small business that's a lot of agency machinery, and stores and paid bookings cost extra.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Basic is $19 a month on yearly billing ($25 monthly) and includes one published site, so that's what one small business pays. It sits between this category's middle and dearer quarter. A store or paid bookings add from $7 a month per site. |
| Free plan and trial | C | No free plan, but a 14-day trial with White Label features and no card needed. After that every account needs a paid plan. |
| Features | B | A multi-site dashboard, client accounts, AI that writes copy and builds whole sites, reusable templates and sections, AWS hosting with unlimited bandwidth, and bookings and stores as add-ons. It covers the whole job, and the agency side too. |
| Ease of use | C | No app store rating on record. AI can draft a whole site, but this is a platform for people building sites for others, with templates, client permissions and add-ons to set up. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web only, with Zapier and a REST API that automates site creation, accounts and content (API access is listed on the Custom plans). No phone or desktop app. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Duda is for
- Great if you build and maintain websites for lots of clients
- Handy when you want to resell sites under your own agency's brand
- A treat if you'd like to automate site creation through an API
Who it is not for
- Not for you if you only need one site for your own business, as most of it is built for agencies
- Pricey if you want white-labelling, which needs the $149-a-month White Label plan
- Tight if you want chat or screen-share support, which starts on Agency at $52 a month
Good to know
Good for
- Agencies and freelancers building and maintaining many client sites
- Teams that want to resell websites under their own brand
- Developers who want to automate site creation through an API
Worth knowing
- There is no free plan; after the 14-day trial an account plan is required, and only Agency and White Label include more than one site.
- Online stores and paid bookings are separate per-site add-ons, starting at $7 a month billed yearly ($8 monthly).
- White-labelling, a custom platform domain and white-label analytics need the $149-a-month White Label plan.
- Basic and Team get email support only; chat and screen-share support start on Agency.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of Duda you could make: templates and forms. What surrounds it you could not. The 5 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
It costs $228 a year.
What you could make
- Templates and forms: an app builder makes these well.
What you could not
- It plugs into other products, Zapier and Amazon Web Services among them, and has an API.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
- What a company asks for before it lets staff use something: roles and permissions.
- Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Duda’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
