Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.4
GPA, above 3 of the 19 other lead and email finders we grade
Kaspr is a prospecting tool that shows the phone numbers and email addresses of people while browsing LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite, through a Chrome extension. Leads are saved to a web dashboard with notes and lists, enriched in bulk from CSV files or LinkedIn searches, and exported to a CRM. Paid plans include unlimited B2B emails, with phone numbers and direct emails counted in credits.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Kaspr, taken from its own pages and our grades.

The report card
Best for phone numbers straight from LinkedIn profiles
Kaspr lives on LinkedIn: open a profile and its Chrome extension shows the phone number and email, and paid plans add unlimited B2B emails. It's $49 a user a month billed yearly, so five reps pay $245. If your prospects aren't on LinkedIn, though, Kaspr has little to start from.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | $245 a month for five on Starter, billed yearly: $49 a user, right at this category's dearer quarter ($49). Each user brings unlimited B2B emails under fair use, 100 phone credits and 5 direct email credits a month, all in one shared pool. |
| Free plan and trial | C | A free plan with 15 B2B email, 5 phone and 5 direct email credits a month, the LinkedIn extension and 100 exports. Enough to try it, not to work from. |
| Features | C | Phone numbers and emails on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite, bulk enrichment, lead lists and CRM exports. The gap is in its own listing: everything starts from LinkedIn, and the API is on request only. |
| Ease of use | B | No App Store rating on record, but there's very little to it: a Chrome extension on the LinkedIn you already use, and the number shows up on the profile. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web and a Chrome extension, with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, lemlist, Brevo, Aircall and Zapier. The API is on request. No desktop or phone apps. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Kaspr is for
- Great if you prospect on LinkedIn and want phone numbers right there
- Handy when you use Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite every day
- Good for small teams sharing one pool of credits
Who it is not for
- Skip it if your prospects aren't on LinkedIn, since everything starts there
- Tight if you call a lot, with 100 phone credits a month on Starter and 200 on Business
- Not for you if you need the API on day one, as it's on request with daily limits
Good to know
Good for
- Sales reps and recruiters who prospect on LinkedIn
- Small teams that need direct phone numbers
- Users of Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite
Worth knowing
- Kaspr works through LinkedIn: the extension and bulk tools start from LinkedIn profiles, searches, groups or events.
- Phone numbers are capped at 100 a month on Starter and 200 on Business; extra credit packs start at $0.36 per credit.
- The API is available only on request, with 250 requests a day on Starter and 500 on Business.
- Unlimited B2B emails are subject to a fair use policy.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Your call
You could make the core of Kaspr for yourself: web clipper.
What you would give up is listed below. Whether that is worth the price is your call. It costs $588 a year.
What you could make
- Web clipper: an app builder makes this well.
- It runs in a browser, which is where something home-made would run too.
What you could not
- It is priced for each person, which means accounts and billing for a team.
- It plugs into other products, HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive among them, and has an API.
What this rests on. Kaspr’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
