Wincher is a rank tracker that checks where a site's pages rank on Google every day, by device and location, and follows competitors on the same keywords. It also has a keyword explorer, an on-page SEO checker, a Google Maps rank tracker and scheduled PDF reports. Plans are priced by the number of keywords tracked.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Wincher, taken from its own pages and our grades.
It's aimed at small teams wanting something simple, but you still add sites, keywords, competitors and locations before it tells you much.

The report card
Best for simple daily rank tracking
Wincher checks where your pages rank on Google every day, by device and location, and follows your competitors on the same keywords. Basic is $49 a month for 500 keywords, or about $40.83 a month with the two free months on yearly billing. It does that job well, but the API and white-label reports wait on Standard at $89.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Graded against other rank trackers. Basic is $49 a month for 500 keywords, about $40.83 a month on yearly billing with its two free months. That's dearer than Ranktracker's $31.20 for the same 500 daily keywords, which also brings backlinks and audits. |
| Free plan and trial | C | No free plan, but the 7-day trial needs no card. A few free stand-alone tools sit on the site, and refunds cover 7 days on a first purchase. |
| Features | C | Daily rankings by device and location with SERP features, 5 competitors per site, a keyword explorer, on-page checks, Google Maps tracking and PDF reports. It does rank tracking fully, but that's a smaller job, and Basic has no API or white-label. |
| Ease of use | C | No rating on record. It's aimed at small teams wanting something simple, but you still add sites, keywords, competitors and locations before it tells you much. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web only, linked to Search Console, Looker Studio, Yoast SEO, WordPress and Wix, with an API from Standard. No desktop or phone app. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Wincher you would be making search volumes for millions of keywords, gathered and kept up to date. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 10 of the 21 other SEO tools grade higher. It costs $588 a year.
What you could make
- Reports: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- Search volumes for millions of keywords, gathered and kept up to date.
- Daily checks of where your pages rank in search results.
- It plugs into other products, Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio and Yoast SEO among them, and has an API.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
What this rests on. Wincher’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
