How we grade them

2.8GPADialpadGood2.2GPAKixieFair
Value for money
C$15 a head for five on Standard, billed yearly. That's just over this category's cheaper quarter ($14), and it includes the live transcripts and AI summaries. Monthly billing jumps to $27, and CRM links need Pro at $25.
CNo published prices: the pricing page lists three plans, and Kixie's own fact page says per-seat prices are quoted per team. With no figure it sits at the ordinary grade, and there's no per-head cost for five to give.
Free plan and trial
CA 14-day free trial of Dialpad Connect, and no free plan. The listing doesn't say whether the trial needs a card.
CA 7-day free trial with no credit card needed. No free plan.
Features
BUnlimited US and Canada calls, texting, team messaging, video meetings, phone menus with several ways to route calls, and transcripts and summaries on every call. It covers the whole job. Fax and extra numbers are add-ons.
CCalls and texts that sync both ways with your CRM, IVR, queues, recording, live coaching and a power dialer. It does the sales calling job fully, but that's narrower than a full phone system, and the AI extras are paid add-ons.
Ease of use
B4.6 from about 4,600 App Store ratings. Good, and a notch below the very best-rated phone apps here.
CNo App Store rating on record. You'll need to connect your CRM and set up dial lists before it earns its keep.
Platforms and integrations
AWindows and Mac apps, iPhone and Android, a web app, a Chrome extension and desk phones, plus Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk and Slack.
BA Chrome extension and a web dashboard, with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Zapier and a developer API. No desktop or phone apps on record.

  • The contact center (Dialpad Support, from $89 per user a month) and sales dialer (Dialpad Sell, from $39) are separate products.
  • Monthly billing costs more: $27 instead of $15 for Standard and $35 instead of $25 for Pro.

Kixie

  • Kixie publishes no plan prices: the pricing page lists three plans, and its own fact page says per-seat prices are quoted per team.
  • AI Human Voice Detection is limited to the Multi-Line PowerDialer plan and is sold as a premium add-on.
  • ConnectionBoost, Conversation Intelligence and Do Not Call compliance are add-ons on top of a plan.
  • Kixie's pages name a Chrome extension and a web dashboard but list no desktop or mobile apps.
