Worth knowing
Jibble
- Paid plan prices are not shown on the website: the plans page lists Premium and Ultimate without amounts, and help articles use sample figures.
- The Free plan is capped at 2 locations, 1 kiosk and 1 work schedule, with screenshots stored for 3 days.
- Desktop apps are listed for Mac and Windows only; there is no Linux app.
- Jibble applies localized pricing in some countries and moves an organization to the standard USD plan if under 80% of users are based there.
Timesheet
- Basic and Plus are for one person; Basic has no cloud sync or multi-device support, and web app access starts on Pro.
- Invoices, team features, API access and the AI assistant need Pro at $10 per user a month.
- Pro and Business are limited to 50 users, and Enterprise to 200.
- Prices are net: the pricing page says applicable VAT is added at purchase.
Key features
Jibble
- Clock in from any device
- Staff track hours from iOS and Android apps, Mac and Windows desktop apps, a Chrome extension, a browser, or a tablet set up as a shared kiosk.
- Identity and location checks
- Clock-ins can require face recognition, a selfie, an NFC tap or a PIN, and GPS stamps a location on each entry. Geofences restrict clock-ins to approved sites.
- Timesheets and approvals
- Time entries build timesheets automatically. Managers review and approve them per pay period, and reports export as XLS or CSV for payroll.
- Time off and work schedules
- Leave policies, accruals and requests are managed alongside tracked hours, with work schedules and overtime rules. The Free plan allows 1 work schedule.
- Projects and invoicing
- Time can be logged against projects, activities and clients, then turned into client invoices. A Xero integration sends invoices from payroll hours.
- Offline mode and screenshots
- Entries made without a connection sync once the device is back online. The Mac and Windows apps can capture screenshots, kept for 3 days on the Free plan.
Timesheet
- Timers on phone, watch and browser
- Android and iOS apps start a timer in one tap and keep it running in the background, with breaks, expenses, tags and custom rates on every plan. A browser extension is also offered.
- Location, Wi-Fi and NFC automation
- Timers can start and stop from geofence rules, a detected Wi-Fi network or an NFC tag, for when a manual timer is easy to forget. All three are included in the free plan.
- Reports and exports
- Daily, weekly and monthly reports break time down by project, task, client and income. Data exports to Excel and CSV on every plan, with PDF reports alongside.
- Invoices from tracked time
- From Pro, invoices are generated from time entries with expenses and notes added, exported as PDF, and tracked by payment status.
- HR and working-time rules
- Business adds contracts and employment models, daily, weekly and monthly working-time limits, rest period and break enforcement, absence requests and leave and overtime balances.
- Chronis AI and Activity Tracker
- From Pro, the Chronis assistant logs time and controls the timer from chat in the web app or Telegram, and a Mac app records app usage and turns it into tasks you confirm.
