Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.4

GPA, above 17 of the 69 other daily planner apps we grade

BeeDone is a task, habit and routine planner that treats the day as a game: finishing tasks earns XP, levels, badges and streaks. An AI coach called Dopa gives prompts in a tone you choose, an AI splitter breaks large tasks into steps, and a blocker keeps chosen apps locked until the daily goal is reached. The vendor, based in France, says it was designed for people with ADHD. A free Novice plan covers the basics, and Pro Player or a one-time Legend purchase unlocks everything.

To get you started, here are 9 things to know about BeeDone, taken from its own pages and our grades.

  1. 1

Best for turning your to-do list into a game

BeeDone turns your to-do list into a game.

  2. 2

Paid plans start at $8 a month

As its pricing page puts it: $8 per month (Pro Player), or $120 one-time (Legend).

  3. 3

    There is a free plan

Novice plan: free with tasks, habits and routines, limited to 3 active habits and basic gamification. The vendor says no credit card is needed to start.

  4. 4

    It runs on 4 platforms

    Web, macOS, iOS and Android.

  5. 5

    Gamified tasks

Completing a task earns XP toward levels, badges and streaks, and leveling up unlocks further features and avatars.

  6. 6

    Dopa, the AI coach

An AI coach whose tone can be switched between five moods, from warm and upbeat to blunt. The personal AI coach is listed under the Pro Player plan.

  7. 7

    Doomscroll Blocker

Locks the apps you choose until the daily XP goal is reached, then unlocks them. The lock resets every morning without further setup.

  8. 8

    A 2.4 GPA, above 17 of 69

That is against the other daily planner apps we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

  9. 9

    Keep it

The report card

Best for turning your to-do list into a game

BeeDone turns your to-do list into a game. Finishing tasks earns XP, levels and streaks, an AI coach called Dopa talks to you in the tone you pick, and a blocker locks your distracting apps until you hit the day's goal. The pricing is muddled: $8 a month on the website, $3.99 in the App Store description. It lists no calendar sync or integrations and no Windows app, and the free plan stops at 3 habits.

ToolGPA report cardBeeDoneGraded Oct 10, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyCPro Player is $8 a month on the website, the ordinary band for a planner here, where the middle is $5.99. The Legend lifetime at $120 is dearer than two years of a typical subscription. And the US App Store description quotes $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, so the price depends where you look.
Free plan and trialCNovice is free with tasks, habits and routines and no card needed to start. But it's 3 active habits and basic gamification, and the AI coach and the rest of the 20-odd features sit behind Pro Player, so the free plan is a sampler.
FeaturesCXP, levels and badges for finished tasks, an AI coach, an app blocker tied to your daily goal, a focus timer, a task splitter, habits and routines. The planner basics are there with one hole: its pages list no calendar sync or any other integration.
Ease of useBNo rating on record, but there's nothing to configure: the blocker resets each morning by itself, and Task Roulette picks a task for you when you can't decide where to start. Download it and you're playing.
Platforms and integrationsBWeb, Mac, iPhone and Android, so phone and computer are both covered. But there's no Windows app, and its pages list no integrations and no API, so it stands apart from everything else you use.
Grade point averageFair, out of 4.02.4

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who BeeDone is for

  • Fits if you have ADHD and points, streaks and rewards get you moving
  • Works for anyone who wants distracting apps locked until the day's tasks are done

Who it is not for

  • Tight if you're staying free, with 3 active habits, basic gamification and no personal AI coach
  • Skip it if you want your planner tied to your calendar, as its pages list no integrations
  • Not for you if you want a Windows app, since off Apple and Android it's the web app
  • Watch out: the website says $8 a month, the App Store description $3.99, and the store lists ten other prices
  • Pricey if you go lifetime: Legend is $120, more than two years of a typical planner subscription

Good to know

Good for

  • People with ADHD who respond to points, streaks and rewards
  • Building habits and routines next to a daily task list
  • People who want distracting apps locked until tasks are done

Worth knowing

  • The free Novice plan allows 3 active habits and basic gamification. The AI coach and the full feature set are listed under Pro Player.
  • Prices differ by channel: the website lists Pro Player at $8 a month, while the US App Store description quotes $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
  • The US App Store lists ten in-app purchases, from $2.99 a week to $59.99 a year, plus one-time purchases at $17.99 and $27.99. Google Play shows $2.99 to $199.99 per item.
  • No Windows app is listed. Outside Apple devices and Android, BeeDone is used through its web app.

Keep it, or make your own?

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.

Keep it

The plain part of BeeDone you could make: tasks and habit tracking. What surrounds it you could not. The 4 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.

That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 35 of the 69 other daily planner apps grade higher. It costs $96 a year.

What you could make

  • Tasks and habit tracking: an app builder makes these well.

What you could not

  • Blocking that reaches every browser and app and is hard to switch off.
  • Apps for macOS, iOS and Android that stay in step with each other.
  • AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
  • People on the other end: coaches. No app builder makes those.

What this rests on. BeeDone’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
