Content Raptor review (2026): is the free plan enough?
Picks pages to optimize from Search Console data and tests the result

Best for fixing existing pages from Search Console data
Content Raptor ranks your pages by the traffic they could gain in Search Console, shows the keywords each one is missing and tests whether your change moved anything. Pro is $47 a month for each site. It works only on pages you already have, and without Search Console it has nothing to go on.
Who Content Raptor is for
- Fits if you'd rather fix the pages you already have before writing new ones
- Makes sense if you want to check whether an on-page change actually moved rankings and clicks
Who Content Raptor is not for
- Pricey if you run several sites, as Pro is priced per site, so 10 sites cost ten times as much, and over 20 is a custom plan
- Not for you if you don't use Google Search Console, as every recommendation comes from it
- Too light for wider rank tracking, as it's capped at 150 keywords per site
- Tight if you're staying free, as Hobby shows only the top 25 opportunities and adds 5 a week after the trial
- Skip it if you want new articles written, as it works only on pages already published
Why Content Raptor gets a 2.0
Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.
- CValue for moneyPro is $47 a month per site, or $470 a year, just above this category's middle of $45. It's priced per site, so 10 sites cost ten times as much, and more than 20 is a custom plan.
- CFree plan and trialA 7-day Pro trial with no card, then the free Hobby plan shows the top 25 opportunities and adds 5 a week. Enough to see how it works, not to work through a site.
- CFeaturesPages ranked by traffic they could gain, an editor that shows missing keywords and entities with an AI rewrite, before-and-after tests and daily tracking of 150 keywords. It does page optimization fully, but that's a smaller job, with no new articles on record.
- CEase of useNo rating on record. Each site needs a Search Console property connected, and you work page by page in the editor before a test can report back.
- CPlatforms and integrationsWeb only, connected to Google Search Console, WordPress through its API and SerpRobot for old ranking data. No other CMS, app or public API on record.

Keep it
Nothing Content Raptor does is plain enough to make in a weekend. The 4 things listed below take a company.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 53 of the 87 other SEO content tools grade higher. It costs $564 a year.
What you could not
- A score built from what the top results for each keyword cover.
- Daily checks of where your pages rank in search results.
- Splitting visitors between versions and telling you which won.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
What this rests on. Content Raptor’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
What is Content Raptor?
Content Raptor connects to Google Search Console, ranks a site's pages by how much traffic they could gain, and lists the keywords and entities each page is missing. Changes are made in its content editor, by hand or with an AI rewrite tool, and a before-and-after test then reports the effect on rankings, clicks, impressions and click-through rate. A daily rank tracker for 150 keywords per site is included.
Worth knowing
- It needs a Google Search Console property for each site; recommendations come from that data.
- Pro is priced per site, so 10 sites cost ten times the single-site price; above 20 sites is a custom plan.
- Rank tracking is capped at 150 keywords per site.
- The free Hobby plan shows only a limited, weekly growing set of opportunities after the trial ends.
Key features
- High-opportunity pages
- Reads every keyword each page ranks for in Search Console and sorts the site's pages by the traffic they could gain.
- Content editor with AI rewrite
- Shows the keywords and entities a page is missing, with a suggested coverage range, and can rewrite a highlighted section to work them in.
- Before-and-after tests
- After a change is published, compares rankings, clicks, impressions and click-through rate before and after. Unlimited on Pro.
- Daily rank tracker
- Tracks 150 keywords per site daily, on desktop or mobile, in 100+ languages and 300+ regions, with tags and 3 years of history.
- WordPress import and export
- Pulls content from a WordPress site and pushes optimized text back through the WordPress API, with no plugin needed.
- SerpRobot import
- Brings in historic ranking data from SerpRobot at no charge, and can import keywords from an XML sitemap.
