Best for topical maps turned into briefs and drafts

Floyi plans content by topic: it maps what a site should cover from Google, YouTube and AI search data, then writes briefs and drafts from your own documents and scores your topical authority. Pro is $82.50 a month billed yearly, or $99 monthly. Every brief and draft burns credits, and one-click publishing is WordPress only.

Who Floyi is for

  • Fits if you're an SEO consultant or agency building topical maps and briefs for clients
  • Works for in-house teams that want strategy, briefs and drafts in one tool

Who Floyi is not for

  • Tight if you're staying free, as briefs and drafts are paid-only and you get one topical research run, ever
  • Watch out: a finished article costs 300 credits, monthly credits don't roll over, and extra ones are $7 per 1,000 on Pro
  • Skip it if your site isn't on WordPress, as one-click publishing supports only WordPress so far, apart from GitHub
  • Pricey if your team grows, as extra seats are $15 a month on Pro and $10 on Scale
  • Watch out: the homepage calls the free 500 credits a one-off start, while the pricing table lists them per month

Why Floyi gets a 2.4

Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.

  • CValue for moneyPro is $82.50 a month billed yearly ($990 a year), or $99 monthly, with 3 seats and up to 50 full articles. That's just under this category's dearer quarter at $83, and briefs and drafts start here.
  • CFree plan and trialA free plan with 500 credits, 1 brand and 1 lifetime topical research run, but briefs and drafts need a paid plan. Pro can be tried for 14 days at $7, then it's $99 a month unless you cancel.
  • BFeaturesBrand profiles from a URL, topical maps from Google, YouTube and AI search, briefs, drafts from a knowledge base, an editor that flags missing entities, WordPress publishing, an authority scorecard and AI answer comparisons. It covers the whole job.
  • CEase of useNo rating on record. You build a brand profile, run topical research, load a knowledge base and learn what each step costs in credits before drafts come out.
  • BPlatforms and integrationsWeb only, with no desktop or phone app. It publishes to WordPress and GitHub, works with Claude, ChatGPT and Codex, and has MCP and an API from Pro.

Keep Floyi, or make your own?

Keep it

To replace Floyi you would be making search volumes for millions of keywords, gathered and kept up to date. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.4 is higher than 59 of the 87 other SEO content tools we grade. It costs $990 a year.

What you could make

  • Long-form writing: an app builder makes this well.

What you could not

  • Search volumes for millions of keywords, gathered and kept up to date.
  • A score built from what the top results for each keyword cover.
  • The same prompts asked of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI answers every day, and the answers kept.
  • It plugs into other products, WordPress, GitHub and Claude among them.
  • AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
  • The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.

What this rests on. Floyi’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.

What is Floyi?

Floyi is a web platform for planning content by topic rather than by single keyword. It builds a brand profile from a URL, maps the topics a site should cover from Google, YouTube and AI search data, then turns the map into briefs and drafts written from your own knowledge base. A scorecard tracks topical authority, rankings and citations in AI answers. Plans run on a shared pool of credits.

Worth knowing

  • Briefs and drafts are paid-only: each costs 150 credits, so a finished article is 300 credits.
  • Monthly credits do not roll over; extra credits cost $7 per 1,000 on Pro and $6 on Scale and never expire.
  • One-click publishing supports WordPress only so far; extra seats are $15 a month on Pro and $10 on Scale.
  • The homepage gives the free plan's 500 credits as a one-off start while the pricing table lists them per month.
