Best for low-cost signatures that each person copies in
Gimmio is a signature generator priced by how many signatures you store, from $28 a year for one. Each person still installs their own, there are no banners or click counts on record, and the trial charges your card when the week ends.
Who Gimmio is for
- Fits if you want one designed signature for $28 a year
- Works for small businesses that set up staff signatures from a spreadsheet
Who Gimmio is not for
- Skip it if you want signatures pushed out from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, as each person installs their own
- Too light for marketing teams, with no banner campaigns or click tracking on record
- Tight if you're staying free, as custom designs and premium features are locked
- Watch out: the 7-day trial needs a card and charges it automatically when the week ends
- Watch out: account data is kept only while a subscription is active
Why Gimmio gets a 2.4
Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.
- AValue for moneyOne signature is $28 a year, $2.33 a month, this category's middle. Five are $49 a year, about 82 cents a head a month, under 60% of the cheaper quarter ($1.20), and 100 are $350 a year.
- CFree plan and trialA free generator with the standard layouts; custom designs and premium features are locked. The 7-day trial of everything takes a card and charges it when the week ends.
- CFeatures55+ templates, grouped signatures, CSV import with review links for staff, and white label on agency plans. The gaps: each person installs their own, the Microsoft 365 product is only coming soon, and no banners or analytics are on record.
- CEase of useNo app store rating on record. You design from a template and install by copying the signature or pasting its HTML into each mail program, with steps per program and a size check for Gmail.
- CPlatforms and integrationsWeb only, with no integrations on record. Its Microsoft 365 signature product is listed as coming soon.

Your call
You could make the core of Gimmio for yourself: email signature and templates.
Whether that is worth the price is your call. At $28 a year it costs less than the weekend it would take to replace, which is the argument for keeping it.
What you could make
- Email signature and templates: an app builder makes these well.
- It runs in a browser, which is where something home-made would run too.
What this rests on. Gimmio’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
What is Gimmio?
Gimmio, formerly ZippySig, is a web app for designing HTML email signatures from templates and installing them by copying the signature or its HTML into your email program. Teams group signatures, import staff from a CSV and send each person a link to check their details before installing. An agency edition adds white-label branding for making signatures for clients.
Worth knowing
- Each person installs their own signature; Gimmio's Microsoft 365 signature product is listed as coming soon.
- The free trial needs a card, which is charged automatically when the 7 days end.
- Prices are set by how many signatures the account stores, not by features; account data is kept only while a subscription is active.
- Printed business cards are sold separately, priced per order with shipping.
