2.2
GPA, above 3 of the 11 other inventory management tools we grade
Ordoro is operations software for multichannel online sellers, sold as three apps: Shipping, Inventory and Dropshipping. The Inventory app keeps stock in sync across Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart and other channels, with kitting, multiple warehouses, Amazon FBA tracking and, on the top plan, purchase orders and manufacturing orders. The Shipping app is separate and has a free plan.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Ordoro, taken from its own pages and our grades.
You'll connect channels and warehouses and set up order rules before it pays off, and shipping lives in a separate app you set up too.

The report card
Best for online sellers keeping stock in sync across channels
Ordoro keeps stock in sync across Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart and the rest, with kitting, unlimited warehouses and users, and FBA tracking. It's sold as separate apps, though: Inventory starts at $349 a month, purchase orders and stocktakes need the $499 Premium plan, and shipping and dropshipping are priced on their own.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | D | Inventory Advanced is $349 a month for 1,000 orders, with no yearly rate listed, and it covers a shop plus an online store. But purchase orders, stocktakes and bills of materials need Premium at $499, the dearest tenth of this category, so counting and reordering stock costs top money. |
| Free plan and trial | C | No free plan for Inventory, but a 15-day free trial with no credit card required. The free plan you may spot is for the separate Shipping app, at 100 labels a month. |
| Features | B | Stock written back to every channel, kitting and bundles, unlimited warehouses with transfers, FBA sync, automation rules, purchase orders and manufacturing orders, plus separate shipping and dropshipping apps. The whole job, though purchasing and stocktakes are Premium only. |
| Ease of use | C | No store rating on record. You'll connect channels and warehouses and set up order rules before it pays off, and shipping lives in a separate app you set up too. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web only, with Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and QuickBooks Online, and API access on both Inventory plans. No desktop or phone apps listed. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Ordoro is for
- Great if you sell kits and bundles across Shopify, Amazon and eBay
- Handy when you ship some orders yourself and dropship others
- Good for sellers with several warehouses or a 3PL, as warehouses and users are unlimited
Who it is not for
- Pricey if you need purchase orders or stocktakes, which start at $499 a month
- Skip it if you're a small shop, as Inventory alone starts at $349 a month
- Not for you if you want one bill, since shipping and dropshipping are separate apps
Good to know
Good for
- Online sellers on several channels who need stock kept in sync
- Shopify and Amazon brands selling kits and bundles
- Businesses that ship their own orders and also dropship
Worth knowing
- Inventory plans include 1,000 orders a month; each further 1,000 costs $100.
- Shipping is a separate app: free for 100 labels a month, $59 a month for 3,000, or $149 a month for unlimited labels.
- Dropshipping is another separate app from $299 a month for 1,000 dropshipments; bundles of apps are priced by sales.
- Purchase orders, bills of materials and stocktakes are only on the $499 Inventory Premium plan.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Ordoro you would be making discounted carrier rates and labels, which take an agreement with each carrier. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 8 of the 11 other inventory management tools grade higher. It costs $4,188 a year.
What you could make
- Inventory: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- Discounted carrier rates and labels, which take an agreement with each carrier.
- Suppliers who ship each order for you.
- Scanning barcodes with a phone camera or a scanner.
- It plugs into other products, Shopify, Amazon and eBay among them, and has an API.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Ordoro’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
