Nobilista
Japanese cloud rank tracker for Google, Yahoo and Bing in 14 countries
Which one is for you
Pick GRC if
- Fits if you work in Japan and Yahoo rankings are the ones you report on
- Works for keeping ranking data on your own Windows PC rather than in a web service
Look elsewhere if
- Skip it if you need Google rankings, as GRC no longer checks them, and Bing was removed
- Not for you if you're on a Mac or want it in a browser, as it's Windows only
- Tight if your needs might grow, since a plan can't be changed once its key is issued, and upgrading by paying the difference isn't offered
- Watch out: each PC or Windows user account needs its own licence, and the site is in Japanese only
- Watch out: the free edition's item limit isn't stated, and yearly licences are paid by bank transfer
Pick Nobilista if
- Fits if you report on Google and Yahoo rankings in Japan without leaving a PC on
- Works for a small site tracking up to a few hundred keywords across several countries
Look elsewhere if
- Skip it if you need daily positions past the top 10 on Google
- Tight if your keyword list shrinks, as paid plans can add keywords but not remove them
- Not for you if you need an API or integrations, as none are on record
- Watch out: new Bing registrations are suspended, and Yahoo and Bing keywords get no volume or traffic estimates
- Watch out: prices are in yen, so the dollar figures are estimates and your card's exchange rate sets the charge
How we grade them
| 2.0GPAGRCFair | 2.2GPANobilistaFair | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | ABasic is ¥495 a month for 5 URLs and 500 keywords, tax included, or ¥4,950 a year. That's a fraction of what rank trackers usually charge, even counting that it now checks Yahoo only. | BThe Personal Plan is ¥990 a month for 150 keywords and 3 sites, tax included, which the page shows as about $6.30. That's inside the cheapest quarter of rank trackers. 1,000 keywords is ¥5,940, about $37.80. |
| Free plan and trial | CA free edition of the same program, with a lower limit on sites and keywords that a paid key raises. The pages read don't say what that limit is. | CNo free plan, but a 7-day trial with no card and no automatic billing at the end. Pick the keyword count carefully, since it carries over and can't be lowered later. |
| Features | DOne-click and scheduled checks, every past position with graphs and notes, competitor and top-site tracking, alerts and CSV export. But it now checks Yahoo only, after Google checks stopped and Bing was removed, so it can't do the job most people want a tracker for. | CGoogle, Yahoo and Bing in 14 countries by region, search volume and expected traffic, landing page and group reports, competitor comparison, shared links and alerts. The gap: daily Google checks cover only the top 10, and new Bing keywords are suspended for now. |
| Ease of use | CNo rating on record. You install it, register sites and keywords and press go, but the site is in Japanese only, and each PC or Windows account needs its own licence. | CNo rating on record. Nothing to install, but you set up sites, keyword groups and competitors, and the yen pricing and keyword rules take some reading. |
| Platforms and integrations | DWindows only, with no web, Mac or phone version and no integrations. Standard and up can view another PC's GRC data remotely, but that's as far as it reaches. | CWeb only, with no desktop or phone app, and the listing shows no integrations or API. Sharing is by link and CSV download. |

Worth knowing
GRC
- It now checks Yahoo only: its changelog says Google checks were stopped and Bing checks removed because those engines changed.
- It runs on Windows only, and each PC or Windows user account needs its own license.
- The site is in Japanese and prices are in yen; monthly licenses are paid by PayPal, yearly ones by bank transfer.
- A license plan cannot be changed after the key is issued, and upgrades by paying the difference are not offered.
Nobilista
- Daily Google checks cover only the top 10; the top 100 is read on the 15th and month-end, or four times a month on the deepest schedule.
- Prices are in yen with tax included; the dollar figures shown are estimates, and the card issuer's exchange rate sets the final charge.
- New Bing registrations are suspended for now, and Yahoo and Bing keywords get no search volume or traffic estimates.
- Once on a paid plan, keywords can be added but not removed, so the trial's keyword count carries over.

How this page was made
- The verdict at the top follows a fixed rule. When both tools are in the same category and either is in our top three for it, the verdict follows that ranking: the higher-placed tool is our pick. The top three weigh who each tool suits as well as its grades, so a pick can go against the GPA. Otherwise the page does not pick one and says which grades higher: the higher GPA first; on a tie, the one with a free plan, then the one that starts cheaper in dollars a month, counted the same way for both; if they are still level, what the choice depends on.
- The grades are our own, from each tool’s review or report card. The GPA is their average.
- Prices, plans and platforms come from each tool’s listing. The table above says where each price was read and when.
- The differences and the answers to the questions are worked out from those listings.
