Value for money
CWe couldn't confirm a price: none is published. Startup, Pro and Enterprise are all quoted through sales, and Startup is only for firms under 15 people and $2 million in revenue. C is the grade when no price is on record.
CPro is $9 a Member a month billed yearly, between the $8 middle and the $10 dear end for project tools here, so an ordinary price. Contributors are free and unlimited, which helps. But Pro stops at 10 Members, and timeline view, workload tracking and the API all wait for Business at $19.
Free plan and trial
CNo free plan, but a 14-day trial of Pro with no credit card. When it ends, you buy a plan to keep going.
CNo free plan. You get 30 days with no credit card asked for, which is a decent run at it, and then a paid plan is the only way to carry on.
Features
CIt does the run-a-process job fully: checklists with forms, approvals, conditional logic and enforced order, schedules, controlled documents and Data Sets. But that's a smaller job than planning projects, with no boards or Gantt charts on record, and the apps don't work offline.
BIt covers the whole job: one sheet shown as a grid, a Gantt chart, cards or a calendar, rolling up into reports and dashboards, with forms for intake, automated workflows and Smart Assist for formulas. Airtable, monday and Wrike, its own named rivals, cover the same ground.
Ease of use
CNo rating on record, and the work is turning your procedures into workflows: steps, form fields, approvals and rules. The AI can draft a workflow from a description, which shortens it.
A4.85 from about 120,000 App Store ratings, which is the top band and a very large crowd saying the same thing. The sheets behave like spreadsheets, so anyone who already lives in one has little new to learn.
Platforms and integrations
BWeb, iPhone and Android, with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Jira, DocuSign, Zapier and Power Automate, plus an API and webhooks. No desktop app, so it stops at B.
AThe full set: web, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, with Microsoft Teams, Slack, Salesforce, Jira, Power BI and Tableau, and an API. The API is Business and up, mind.

Key features

Process Street

Workflows with forms and approvals
Each run of a workflow is a checklist of tasks with form fields, approvals, conditional logic, enforced task order, dynamic due dates and role assignments.
Scheduled workflows and run links
Start workflows on a schedule or from a shared link, and restore an earlier revision of a workflow if a change goes wrong.
Docs for policies and SOPs
An in-browser editor and document control for policies and SOPs, with version history, approval workflows, role-based access and an audit trail.
Data Sets
Structured records that workflows read from and write to, kept in sync with other systems; the Startup plan holds 5,000 records and Pro 10,000.
Cora and AI workflow generation
Cora is an AI agent that monitors regulations, builds and adjusts workflows and flags risks; workflows can also be drafted with AI from a description.
Automations and integrations
Native automations send data to Google Sheets, Slack, Salesforce, DocuSign and Jira, alongside Zapier, Make and Power Automate connectors, an API and webhooks.

Smartsheet

Sheets with multiple views
Work is stored in spreadsheet-like sheets that can be switched between grid, Gantt, card and calendar views. Timeline view starts on the Business plan.
Reports and dashboards
Reports pull together and filter rows from sheets, and dashboards summarize the results for stakeholders.
Forms
Forms gather structured input such as requests, field reports and feedback. Forms are unlimited on the Pro plan and above.
Automated workflows
Workflows can be built from templates or from scratch for tasks such as reminders. Pro allows 250 automations a month; Business and above are unlimited.
Resource management
Shows who is assigned to what, so managers can even out workloads and plan for upcoming demand. Workload tracking is listed from the Business plan.
AI tools
Smart Assist and Smart Columns help with formulas and data analysis, and Business adds connections to external AI tools through MCP.
