Value for money
DBasic is $9 a seat and has no automations, integrations or timeline, so most teams end up on Standard at $12, half again this category middle of $8, and time tracking waits for Pro at $19. On top of that you cannot buy fewer than three seats, so a pair pays for an empty chair.
CWe couldn't confirm a price: none is published. Startup, Pro and Enterprise are all quoted through sales, and Startup is only for firms under 15 people and $2 million in revenue. C is the grade when no price is on record.
Free plan and trial
CTwo seats, three boards, three docs and no automations. That is a cap you hit on day one as a team, though a single freelancer with a couple of clients could sit there. The 14-day Pro trial is the only other way in.
CNo free plan, but a 14-day trial of Pro with no credit card. When it ends, you buy a plan to keep going.
Features
BBoards of typed columns, timelines, Gantt, calendar, dashboards, docs, forms, automations, time tracking, 850+ integrations and a row of AI helpers. Nothing missing from the job. Nothing here its rivals lack either, and the pieces are parcelled out across four plans with the automations counted.
CIt does the run-a-process job fully: checklists with forms, approvals, conditional logic and enforced order, schedules, controlled documents and Data Sets. But that's a smaller job than planning projects, with no boards or Gantt charts on record, and the apps don't work offline.
Ease of use
A4.8 on the App Store from 48,096 ratings, which is the top of this category. A diesel repair shop and a couple doing up a 1976 house both say it just made sense, and there are 200+ templates to start from.
CNo rating on record, and the work is turning your procedures into workflows: steps, form fields, approvals and rules. The AI can draft a workflow from a description, which shortens it.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, with an API and 850+ integrations and apps behind it. The holes are Linux, which has no app, and the phone app itself, which reviewers say cannot do everything the website can.
BWeb, iPhone and Android, with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Jira, DocuSign, Zapier and Power Automate, plus an API and webhooks. No desktop app, so it stops at B.

Key features

monday.com

Boards and views
Work is tracked on boards made of items and typed columns. Timeline, Gantt and calendar views start on the Standard plan.
Automations and integrations
Both are metered by monthly actions: 250 each on Standard and 25,000 each on Pro. The integrations page lists 850+ integrations and apps.
Dashboards
Dashboards bring data from boards together into charts and summaries for reporting on progress.
Docs and forms
Built-in documents and forms sit next to boards. The Free plan allows up to 3 docs, and private boards and docs need Pro.
AI credits and agents
The Sidekick assistant, AI agents and a notetaker draw on a monthly credit pool: 1,000 credits on Basic, 2,000 on Standard and 3,000 on Pro.
Portfolio and resource management
The Enterprise plan adds portfolio management, resource management and multi-level permissions.

Process Street

Workflows with forms and approvals
Each run of a workflow is a checklist of tasks with form fields, approvals, conditional logic, enforced task order, dynamic due dates and role assignments.
Scheduled workflows and run links
Start workflows on a schedule or from a shared link, and restore an earlier revision of a workflow if a change goes wrong.
Docs for policies and SOPs
An in-browser editor and document control for policies and SOPs, with version history, approval workflows, role-based access and an audit trail.
Data Sets
Structured records that workflows read from and write to, kept in sync with other systems; the Startup plan holds 5,000 records and Pro 10,000.
Cora and AI workflow generation
Cora is an AI agent that monitors regulations, builds and adjusts workflows and flags risks; workflows can also be drafted with AI from a description.
