Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.8

GPA, above 40 of the 48 other CRM tools we grade

Bitrix24 is an online workspace with a CRM at its center, surrounded by task and project management, chat and video calls, a website builder, HR tools and the CoPilot AI assistant. Paid plans charge a flat rate for the whole organization up to a user limit instead of a per-user fee. It is offered as a cloud service and as an on-premise edition hosted on your own server.

To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Bitrix24, taken from its own pages and our grades.

The cloud version needs nothing installed, at least.
From our grade for ease of use
  1. 1

Best for a CRM, tasks and team chat for one flat price

Bitrix24 is a CRM with tasks, chat, video calls, a website builder and an AI assistant around it, priced per organization rather than per person: $49 a month billed yearly covers 5 users and $99 covers 50.

  2. 2

Paid plans start at $49 a month

As its pricing page puts it: $49 per organization / month for 5 users, billed annually ($69 billed monthly).

  3. 3

    There is a free plan

Free plan with 5 GB of storage: basic CRM (deals, contacts) with one pipeline, tasks with Kanban and Gantt views, shared calendars, and chat and video calls. The plan card says it is for 1–2 users; the comparison table says unlimited.

  4. 4

    It runs on 6 platforms

Web, macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android.

  5. 5

    CRM with a contact center

Leads, deals, contacts and pipelines sit alongside a contact center that brings in CRM forms, a website widget, live chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, telephony and email.

  6. 6

    Tasks and projects

Tasks can be viewed as a Kanban board, Gantt chart, Scrum board or list, with checklists, subtasks and time tracking. Unlimited projects start at Standard.

  7. 7

    Chat, video calls and calendars

A team messenger, video conferencing with screen sharing and call recording, shared calendars and a company drive come with the CRM.

  8. 8

    A 2.8 GPA, above 40 of 48

That is against the other CRM tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

  9. 9

    Keep it

To replace Bitrix24 you would be making chat that a whole team counts on staying up. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card

Best for a CRM, tasks and team chat for one flat price

Bitrix24 is a CRM with tasks, chat, video calls, a website builder and an AI assistant around it, priced per organization rather than per person: $49 a month billed yearly covers 5 users and $99 covers 50. Sales automation, email marketing and analytics wait for Professional at $199, Market apps are limited by plan, and the pricing page contradicts itself on the free plan: 1–2 users on the card, unlimited in the FAQ.

ToolGPA report cardBitrix24Graded Oct 10, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyCBasic is $49 a month billed annually, $69 monthly, and that's the bill whether there is one of you or five. It sits above this category's dearer quarter of $31.10, with the middle at $24. Fill all 5 seats and it's $9.80 a head; sales automation and analytics wait for Professional at $199.
Free plan and trialCFree with no time limit: basic CRM with one pipeline, tasks with Kanban and Gantt, shared calendars, chat and video calls, and 5 GB. One pipeline is a cap you meet at once, there's no telephony or Market apps, and Bitrix24's own pages disagree on who it covers: the plan card says 1–2 users, the FAQ says unlimited.
FeaturesALeads, deals and pipelines with a contact center taking in web forms, live chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, calls and email, then tasks and projects, a messenger, video calls, a drive, a site builder, an online store and CoPilot AI. No other CRM in this category includes the office tools as well.
Ease of useCNo store rating on record, and it's a CRM, a project tool, a chat app and a site builder at once, which is a lot of product to find your way around. The cloud version needs nothing installed, at least.
Platforms and integrationsAWeb, desktop apps for Mac, Windows and Linux, and iPhone and Android apps. It connects to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, Zapier, Stripe, WooCommerce and Google Analytics, and there's an on-premise edition for your own server.
Grade point averageGood, out of 4.02.8

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who Bitrix24 is for

  • Fits if you want the CRM, the task board and the team chat in one place
  • Works for organizations that need to run the software on their own servers

Who it is not for

  • Pricey if there's only one or two of you, since the lowest paid plan is a flat $49 a month billed annually
  • Skip it if you only want a simple sales pipeline, as this is a whole workspace with a CRM in the middle
  • Tight if you're staying free, with one pipeline, 5 GB, no telephony and a plan card that says 1–2 users
  • Watch out: sales automation, email marketing, booking and analytics start on Professional at $199 a month
  • Watch out: Market apps are capped at 2 on Basic, and users at 5, 50 and 100 by plan

Good to know

Good for

  • Teams that want CRM, tasks and internal chat in one product
  • Growing companies that prefer a flat price to per-user fees
  • Organizations that need to host the software on their own servers

Worth knowing

  • Paid plans cap users: 5 on Basic, 50 on Standard and 100 on Professional. Enterprise starts at 250.
  • Sales automation, email marketing, booking and analytics tools are listed from Professional at $199 a month billed annually.
  • Regular plans limit Market apps (2 on Basic, up to 10 on Enterprise); pricier Vibe+ versions add unlimited apps and the Vibecode builder.

Keep it, or make your own?

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.

Keep it

To replace Bitrix24 you would be making chat that a whole team counts on staying up. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 40 of the 48 other CRM tools we grade. It costs $588 a year.

What you could make

  • Sales pipeline and tasks: an app builder makes these well.

What you could not

  • Chat that a whole team counts on staying up.
  • Video calls.
  • Connections to other products, each kept working as those products change.
  • Apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android that stay in step with each other.
  • AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
  • Hooks into the device itself: widgets.
  • Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.
  • The depth: we grade its features A, which means it covers the whole job.

What this rests on. Bitrix24’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
