Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.8

GPA, above 54 of the 79 other project management tools we grade

Fibery is a modular work platform in which a team defines its own databases, such as tasks, features or contacts, and links them to one another. The same data can be shown as tables, boards, timelines, Gantt charts and other views, alongside collaborative documents and whiteboards. Templates cover setups for product teams, software development, agencies and startups.

To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Fibery, taken from its own pages and our grades.

No App Store rating on record, and this is the sort of tool where you build the thing before you use it: databases, relations, views.
From our grade for ease of use
  1. 1

Best for teams that want to build their own setup

Fibery is a kit for building your own work tool: you make databases for tasks, features or customers, link them, and view them as boards, tables, timelines or Gantt charts.

  2. 2

Paid plans start at $12 a month for each person

As its pricing page puts it: $12 per user / month, billed annually.

  3. 3

    There is a free plan

Up to 10 users and 10 guests, 10 databases, unlimited entities, 1 GB of file storage, 14 days of version history, 250 automation runs a month and 1 synced integration. No AI credits.

  4. 4

    It runs on 5 platforms

Web, macOS, Windows, iOS and Android, with a browser extension too.

  5. 5

    Connected databases

A workspace is built from databases that can be related to one another, including across Spaces, with formulas and lookup fields. The Free plan allows 10 databases with unlimited entities.

  6. 6

Many views of the same data

Data can be shown as a table, board, list, calendar, timeline, Gantt chart, gallery, map, feed or form. Gantt views are marked private only on the Free and Standard plans.

  7. 7

    Documents and whiteboards

Collaborative documents are part of every plan. Whiteboards are private only on Free and can be shared from the Standard plan.

  8. 8

    A 2.8 GPA, above 54 of 79

That is against the other project management tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

  9. 9

    Keep it

To replace Fibery you would be making a builder that other people can use without writing code. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card

Best for teams that want to build their own setup

Fibery is a kit for building your own work tool: you make databases for tasks, features or customers, link them, and view them as boards, tables, timelines or Gantt charts. You have to build it before you can use it, paid plans start at $12 a user a month, above the $8 middle here, automations and AI are metered below Enterprise, and Enterprise needs 25 paid users.

ToolGPA report cardFiberyGraded Oct 10, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyCStandard is $12 a user a month billed annually, or $15 monthly, against an $8 middle and a $10 dear quarter for project tools here, and observers and guests cost nothing, which softens it. Custom apps, JavaScript automations and two-way Jira sync wait on Pro at $20, and Enterprise is $40 with a 25-user minimum.
Free plan and trialBFree takes 10 users and 10 guests with 10 databases, unlimited entities, docs, formulas and automations, so a small team can really live on it. The caps are there: 1 GB of files, 14 days of history, 250 automation runs a month, 1 synced integration and no AI credits.
FeaturesBCovers the whole job, shaped by you: linked databases shown as a table, board, calendar, timeline, Gantt chart, map or form, with docs, whiteboards, no-code automations and continuous sync from Jira, Zendesk and GitHub. Gantt views and whiteboards stay private below Standard, and automations and AI are metered.
Ease of useCNo App Store rating on record, and this is the sort of tool where you build the thing before you use it: databases, relations, views. Templates for product teams, software teams, agencies and startups give you a head start on the building.
Platforms and integrationsAWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, plus a browser extension, with no Linux app listed. It syncs with Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Zendesk, Intercom and HubSpot, connects through Zapier, and has a remote MCP server on every plan.
Grade point averageGood, out of 4.02.8

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who Fibery is for

  • Fits if you want to model your own process as linked databases
  • Works for teams of up to 10 on the free plan, with observers and guests free on paid plans

Who it is not for

  • Skip it if you want something ready the minute you sign up, because here you build the setup yourself
  • Pricey if you're a big team, at $12 a user a month for Standard and $20 for Pro, billed annually
  • Tight if you lean on automations or AI, as runs and credits are metered every month below Enterprise
  • Tight if you stay free: 1 GB of files, 14 days of history, 250 automation runs a month, 1 synced integration and no AI
  • Watch out: SAML SSO, SCIM and data residency outside the EU are Enterprise only, at $40 a user with a 25-user minimum

Good to know

Good for

  • Teams that want to model their own process rather than adopt a fixed one
  • Small teams: the Free plan covers up to 10 users with unlimited entities
  • Product teams linking customer feedback to items in a backlog
  • Workspaces with many read-only colleagues, since observers and guests are free

Worth knowing

  • The Free plan is capped at 10 users, 10 guests, 10 databases and 1 GB of files, and includes no AI credits.
  • Automation runs, integration syncs and AI credits are metered each month on every plan below Enterprise.
  • SAML SSO, SCIM and data residency outside the EU are Enterprise only, and Enterprise requires at least 25 paid users.
  • The download page lists macOS and Windows desktop apps but no Linux app.

Keep it, or make your own?

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.

Keep it

To replace Fibery you would be making a builder that other people can use without writing code. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 54 of the 79 other project management tools we grade. It costs $144 a year.

What you could make

  • Kanban boards and Gantt & timelines: an app builder makes these well.

What you could not

  • A builder that other people can use without writing code.
  • Connections to other products, each kept working as those products change.
  • Databases with views, filters and links between them.
  • An endless canvas that stays smooth with hundreds of things on it.
  • Apps for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android that stay in step with each other.
  • It is priced for each person, which means accounts and billing for a team.
  • AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
  • The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.

What this rests on. Fibery’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
