| Value for money | CStandard is $12 a user a month billed annually, or $15 monthly, where about $8 is typical for this category. Observers and guests are free, which softens it. But custom apps and two-way Jira sync wait on Pro at $20. | CBasic is $9 a seat but has no automations, integrations or timeline, so most teams land on Standard at $12. ClickUp gives you Gantt charts and time tracking for $7. |
| Free plan and trial | AFree for up to 10 users and 10 guests, with 10 databases, unlimited entities, docs, formulas and automations. A small team could stay here for good. The caps are 1 GB of files, 250 automation runs a month, 1 synced integration and no AI credits. | CTwo seats, three boards, three docs, and no automations. Fine for one freelancer with a few clients, no good for a team. There is a 14-day trial of Pro. |
| Features | ADatabases you link to each other, shown as a table, board, calendar, timeline, Gantt chart, map or form. Docs and whiteboards sit alongside, automations run without code, and data from Jira, Zendesk and GitHub syncs in. That's the whole job and more. | ABoards, timelines, Gantt charts, dashboards, docs, forms, automations, time tracking and a pile of AI helpers. There's very little you can't bend it into. |
| Ease of use | BThere's no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is as high as we go. Templates for product teams, software teams, agencies and startups give you a head start. Still, it's a build-your-own tool, so someone has to do the building. | A4.8 from about 48,000 App Store ratings. A diesel repair shop and a couple doing up a 1976 house both say it just made sense. There are 200+ templates to start from. |
| Platforms and integrations | AWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, plus a browser extension. No Linux app on the download page, mind. It syncs with Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Zendesk, Intercom and HubSpot, connects through Zapier, and has a remote MCP server on every plan. | BWeb, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, with an API and 850+ integrations and apps. No Linux app, and reviewers say the phone app can't do all the website can. |
