Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.2
GPA, above 3 of the 79 other project management tools we grade
Infinity is a customizable work management platform in which teams build their own structure from workspaces, boards, folders, tabs and items. The same data can be shown as a table, columns, list, calendar, document, Gantt chart, chart or form, with custom attributes and automations. Pricing is per user for teams of up to 15, with flat-rate plans for unlimited members and for white-label agencies.
To get you started, here are 8 things to know about Infinity, taken from its own pages and our grades.
The AI draft helps, but you're still the architect.
- 1
Best for big teams on one flat price
Infinity lets you build your own setup from workspaces, boards, folders, tabs and items, then view it eight ways.
- 2
Paid plans start at $6 a month for each person
As its pricing page puts it: $6 per user / month, billed yearly.
- 3
It runs on 6 platforms
Web, macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android.
- 4
Eight views of the same data
Items can be shown as a table, columns, list, calendar, document, Gantt chart, chart or form. Gantt, chart and form views are part of Pro and the flat-rate plans.
- 5
Six-level structure
Work is organized into workspaces, boards, folders and subfolders, tabs, items and sub-items, with unlimited boards, folders, tabs and items on every plan.
- 6
Custom attributes
Items carry attributes such as labels, dates, members, checklists, references, progress bars, votes and time tracking. Formula, rating and custom ID attributes need Pro.
- 7
A 2.2 GPA, above 3 of 79
That is against the other project management tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 8
Keep it
To replace Infinity you would be making connections to other products, each kept working as those products change. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for big teams on one flat price
Infinity lets you build your own setup from workspaces, boards, folders, tabs and items, then view it eight ways. Per-user plans start at $6 a month billed yearly but stop at 15 members, and Basic has no Gantt, chart or form views. There's no free plan and no trial, only a 14-day money-back guarantee, so you pay before you've seen inside.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Basic is $6 a user a month billed yearly, $8 monthly, which is mid-pack here, and it has no Gantt, chart or form views. The complete version is Pro at $9, just over the category's middle price. Past 15 members you're onto the flat Unlimited plan at $112 a month billed annually. |
| Free plan and trial | F | Nothing is free. No free plan, and the pricing page lists no trial either, just a 14-day money-back guarantee on purchases. Paying first and asking for it back is not the same as a look round. |
| Features | B | The same items as a table, columns, list, calendar, document, Gantt chart, chart or form, six levels of structure, unlimited boards and items on every plan, custom attributes, automations with webhooks and an AI that drafts a board from a prompt. The job's covered; Basic just can't see half of it. |
| Ease of use | C | No store rating on record. This is the sort of tool where you build the thing itself, deciding on workspaces, boards, folders, tabs and attributes before any work goes in. The AI draft helps, but you're still the architect. |
| Platforms and integrations | A | Web, Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android, which is the full set. It connects through Zapier, Make, Integrately and Pabbly, links to Google Drive and Trello, and its automations can call webhooks. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Infinity is for
- Fits if you want to design your own structure of boards, folders and tabs
- Works for teams over 15 that would rather pay $112 a month flat than per user
Who it is not for
- Not for you if you want to try before you buy, as there's no free plan or trial, only a money-back guarantee
- Tight if you pick Basic, which has no Gantt, chart or form views, formula fields or recurring items, and 1,000 automation runs a month
- Skip it if you need several workspaces, since Basic, Pro and Unlimited include one and more means another plan
- Tight if your team passes 15 members, as Basic and Pro stop there and the next step is $112 a month flat
- Watch out: the Unlimited and Agency prices are shown as offers against higher crossed-out prices
Good to know
Good for
- Teams that want to design their own structure of boards, folders and tabs
- Larger teams that prefer one flat price to per-user billing
- Agencies that want to offer clients a white-labeled workspace
Worth knowing
- No free plan or free trial is listed; purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee instead.
- Basic and Pro stop at 15 members, so larger teams have to move to the flat-rate Unlimited plan.
- Gantt, chart and form views, formula fields and recurring items are not in Basic.
- Basic, Pro and Unlimited include a single workspace; the help center says more workspaces mean buying an additional plan.

Part 04 · Standing
Where it stands
Its grades against its category, and whether to keep it or make your own
3/79
Other project management tools it is graded above
Infinity's GPA of 2.2 is higher than 3 of the 79 other project management tools we grade, and level with 16.
It stands best on platforms and integrations (A, above 54 of 79) and worst on free plan and trial (F, above 0).
Its paid plans start at $6 a month for each person, against a middle price of $8 for the category: 21 of the 74 others that charge start lower.
On features, ease of use and platforms it scores 3.0 out of 4. Nothing scores higher for less, though at least one tool matches that score at a lower price.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Infinity you would be making connections to other products, each kept working as those products change. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 60 of the 79 other project management tools grade higher. It costs $72 a year.
What you could make
- Tasks, kanban boards, Gantt & timelines, calendar and forms: an app builder makes these well.
What you could not
- Connections to other products, each kept working as those products change.
- Apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android that stay in step with each other.
- It is priced for each person, which means accounts and billing for a team.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Infinity’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
