Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
1.2
GPA, above 0 of the 16 other Amazon seller tools we grade
Perpetua is advertising software for brands selling on Amazon, Walmart and other marketplaces. Instead of building campaigns by hand, you set goals such as growth, profitability or brand defense with a target ACoS and budget, and its engine creates campaigns, sets bids and harvests keywords. It adds profitability, share-of-voice and market reports, plus display and video ads.
To get you started, here are 8 things to know about Perpetua, taken from its own pages and our grades.
- 1
Best for goal-based Amazon ads for bigger spenders
It's a proper ad tool with profitability and market reports.
- 2
Paid plans start at $10 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $695 per month for up to $10K in monthly ad spend.
- 3
It runs on Web
Web.
- 4
Goal-based campaigns
Set an objective, a target ACoS and a daily budget, and Perpetua builds, runs and adjusts the campaigns to meet it.
- 5
AI bidding and keyword harvesting
Conversion-based bidding and automatic keyword harvesting, with recommendations such as negating search terms that never convert.
- 6
Hourly optimization
From the Growth tier, Amazon Marketing Stream data drives hourly reports and intraday bid changes.
- 7
A 1.2 GPA, above 0 of 16
That is against the other Amazon seller tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 8
Keep it
To replace Perpetua you would be making data from Amazon's seller tools and years of sales estimates. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for goal-based Amazon ads for bigger spenders
Perpetua runs Amazon and Walmart ads from goals: you pick growth, profitability or brand defense, set a target ACoS and budget, and it builds the campaigns and sets the bids. It's a proper ad tool with profitability and market reports. But it's $695 a month even if you spend a fraction of $10K on ads, which rules out most small sellers.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | F | Graded against the ad tools it's listed beside. Essentials is $695 a month, even well under $10K of ad spend. Teikametrics' Essentials is $149 and BidX Essential $195 for the same band, and nothing on record here explains the gap. Above $10K, a share of spend is added. |
| Free plan and trial | F | Nothing free on record: no free plan and no published trial. You're paying $695 from the first month. |
| Features | C | Goal-based campaigns, AI bidding, keyword harvesting, profitability and market reports, and display and video ads. It covers ads well, but hourly bidding and share of voice start at Growth, and there's no research, profit tracking or repricing. |
| Ease of use | C | No rating on record. Setting goals is simpler than building campaigns by hand, but you still connect ad accounts and pick targets, and onboarding help starts at Growth. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | Web only, with no phone or desktop app. It connects to Amazon Ads, Marketing Stream, Amazon Marketing Cloud and Walmart, the platforms it runs ads on, and nothing else on record. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Perpetua is for
- Great if you spend several thousand dollars a month on Amazon ads and want goals, not campaigns
- Handy when you're an agency running ads for lots of Amazon and Walmart clients
Who it is not for
- Pricey if you spend little on ads, as it's $695 a month regardless
- Skip it if you want to try it first, as there's no free plan or trial
- Not for you if you also want research, profit tracking or repricing
Good to know
Good for
- Brands spending several thousand dollars a month on Amazon ads
- Teams that would rather set goals than manage individual campaigns
- Agencies running ads for many Amazon and Walmart clients
Worth knowing
- There is no free plan or published free trial; the lowest plan is $695 a month even below $10K of ad spend.
- Above $10K a month in ad spend, a percentage of spend is added to the $695 fee; the page does not say how much.
- Hourly bidding, share of voice and onboarding help start at the Growth tier.
- It is an ad tool only: there is no product research, profit tracking or repricing.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Perpetua you would be making data from Amazon's seller tools and years of sales estimates. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 16 of the 16 other Amazon seller tools grade higher. It costs $120 a year.
What you could make
- Reports: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- Data from Amazon's seller tools and years of sales estimates.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
What this rests on. Perpetua’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
