|---|---|---|
| Value for money | DStarter is $208 a month billed yearly ($245 monthly) with unlimited users, so a crew of three pays $208, more than most tools here. Job photos, job costing and inventory are add-ons until Plus at $325. It does get cheaper per head as you grow. | CStandard, Pro and Ultimate all say request pricing, so there's no figure for a crew of three. The FAQ says paying yearly saves $400 or more, but not on what. No published price is a C by our rule. |
| Free plan and trial | FNo free plan and no free trial, just a demo. You'd be paying from the first month. | CA 7-day trial with all features and no card needed. That's the shortest trial in this category, and there's no free plan. |
| Features | CEstimates with options, scheduling and dispatch, invoicing, payments and QuickBooks sync on every plan. But on Starter, job photos, job costing, inventory, e-sign, the customer portal and recurring invoicing are all paid add-ons, which is a real gap. | BScheduling and dispatch with live locations, good-better-best estimates, deposits, financing and Tap to Pay, plus a built-in phone system and AI answering that several rivals sell as add-ons. Service plans, inventory and multi-day jobs need Ultimate though. |
| Ease of use | B4.6 from 1,420 App Store ratings for the technician app, which puts each day's jobs on a phone in the field. | B4.6 from 2,191 App Store ratings. Automations are capped at 5 on Standard, so a lot of the automatic follow-ups wait for the bigger plans. |
| Platforms and integrations | BWeb, iPhone and Android, with QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Gusto, Profit Rhino, Customer Lobby, pulseM and LiveSwitch, plus an open API on Pro. No desktop app. | BWeb, iPhone and Android, but the listing names only QuickBooks Online and Zapier, and Zapier and the open API need Ultimate. Thin for this category, and no desktop app. |
| Best for | bigger trade teams on one flat bill | phone-heavy trades like locksmiths and garage doors |
