Value for money
AOn the website Premium is $22.99 a year or $2.99 a month, with Lifetime at $59.99 once. That's cheap for unlimited habits, diary entries and to-dos with no ads. But the US App Store lists higher prices, up to $39.99 a year and $79.99 for lifetime, so compare the two.
BPro is $5.99 a week, $8.99 to $12.99 a month or $29.99 to $59.99 a year on the US App Store, and the app shows whichever applies to you. The yearly prices are about typical for a habit tracker. The weekly one is steep. Nothing says what Pro adds, so a B.
Free plan and trial
B10 habits for free is roomier than most trackers manage. But you get ads, just 3 diary entries, 14 short notes a week, weekly-only repeats and statistics, and no to-do management. Fine for habits, tight for the diary.
BIt's free to download, but RoutineFlow doesn't publish what free includes. Google Play reviews from 2024 describe one routine and basic analytics. The terms mention a free trial of the paid side without saying how long it runs.
Features
AHabits hang off moments of the day and repeat daily, weekly or on a custom pattern, and you can rest one without losing its streak. Add mood scores, a diary, a Green Light that shows if today's on track, badges, widgets, an Apple Watch app and a feed of other people's routines.
BA routine is a list of steps, each with a timer and an emoji, played in order. Templates, a weekly planner, alarms, a widget and 365 days of analytics back that up. The gaps: its own website still labels insights as coming soon, and nobody says how the AI task breakdown works.
Ease of use
A4.8 from about 3,300 App Store ratings. You can start from templates or borrow ideas from other people's routines, and you check habits off with emojis you choose.
BNo rating on record, so a B is our ceiling. The idea is simple: pick a template, like a morning or study routine, and follow one step at a time. A reminder tells you when a routine is due.
Platforms and integrations
CiPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android. There's no web version, and the Mac version is just the iPad app, which the App Store marks as not verified for macOS and which needs an M1 chip or later. No integrations are listed.
CiPhone and Android only. The App Store listing is marked iPhone only, and there's no web or desktop app. No integrations are listed, so nothing on record connects it to your calendar or your other apps.

Who each one suits

MyRoutine

  • Tracking mood and a short diary alongside habits in one app
  • Those who want to see how friends and other users set up their routines

RoutineFlow

  • People with ADHD who want a routine split into timed steps
  • Building a morning or study routine from a template
  • Seeing how long each step of a routine actually takes

Worth knowing

MyRoutine

  • The free version stops at 10 habits and 3 diary entries, limits repeat cycles and statistics to weekly, shows ads and leaves out to-do management.
  • The US App Store lists different prices from the website: Pro (monthly) at $4.99 and $5.99, Pro (annual) from $17.99 to $39.99 and Pro (lifetime) at $79.99.
  • There is no web version, and the Mac version is the iPad app: the App Store marks it as not verified for macOS and it needs an Apple M1 chip or later.
  • The website labels every Premium price as a one-time payment, including the monthly and annual tabs, so check the billing terms shown at purchase.

RoutineFlow

  • The vendor does not publish what the free version includes; Google Play reviews from 2024 say it is limited to one routine with basic analytics.
  • The App Store listing is marked as only for iPhone, and no web or desktop app is offered.
  • The US App Store shows several prices for the same period, such as $29.99, $39.99 and $59.99 for a year; the app shows the price that applies.
  • The website is a single page that still labels insights as coming soon, so current features are documented only in the store listings.

Key features

MyRoutine

Situation-based routines
Habits attach to moments such as waking up rather than to clock times, and the whole day is laid out from morning to night in a grid the vendor compares to a spreadsheet.
Flexible repeats and rest days
Habits repeat daily, weekly or on a custom pattern, and a habit can be rested without being marked failed, so a day off keeps the streak. Custom repeat cycles need Premium.
Mood and diary
Log a mood score, feelings and diary entries next to your routines, then review mood score graphs and a monthly journal overview.
Green Light and statistics
A Green Light indicator shows at a glance whether the day is on track, alongside badges, stamps and habit statistics. Monthly statistics are part of Premium.
Widgets, reminders and emoji checks
Widgets and reminders keep routines in view, habits are checked off with emojis of your choice, and an Apple Watch app is included.
Fellow routiners
Browse other people's routines for ideas, start from templates, and connect with friends to follow each other's feeds.

RoutineFlow

Routines as a sequence of timers
Each step in a routine gets a timer and an emoji, and the routine plays through the steps in order so there is one thing to do at a time.
Templates and custom routines
A routine can start from a template, such as a morning or study routine, or be built from predefined and custom steps.
Weekly planner
The Google Play listing describes a visual planner for the week, so routines can be scheduled across days and not only for the morning.
AI task breakdown
The Google Play feature list names an AI Task Breakdown for ADHD and autism. The listing does not describe how it works or which plan includes it.
Analytics
Statistics cover the past 365 days and show how long each task takes, which the vendor presents as a way to plan around time blindness.
Reminders, alarms and a widget
Notifications prompt you when a routine is due. The iOS release notes add scheduled alarms in February 2026 and a home screen widget that shows the next routine.
