Worth knowing

Brili

  • There is no free plan: after the 10-day trial a 1, 6 or 12 month subscription is needed.
  • The website names the plans without prices and says prices vary by country; the US figures come from the App Store and Google Play listings.
  • The US App Store in-app purchase list also shows lower amounts for each period, such as $3.99 monthly and $24.99 yearly, which the listing does not explain.
  • Apps are listed for iPhone, iPad and Android only, and the For Families page on the website was marked under construction when checked.

Timecap

  • Two App Store reviews from January 2026 say the iPhone app opened on a subscription screen that could not be closed, which conflicts with the free version the listing describes.
  • The US App Store shows several prices for the same period, plus two 7-day Free Trial items at $7.99 and $47.99 with no billing period; the app shows the price that applies.
  • No web or desktop app is listed. It runs on iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • The website's terms and privacy policy date from August 2020, and the iOS and Android listings are published under two different company names.

Key features

Brili

Routine runner
A routine plays like a playlist: the app shows one task card at a time with its timer and moves through the tasks in order.
Visual clock and dynamic timing
A visual clock calculates the time left to finish all remaining tasks. The vendor describes routines as dynamic, adapting as the day goes on.
Scheduled and on-demand routines
Routines can be scheduled, with notifications when one is due, or started whenever needed. A calendar shows the day and the week.
Routine templates
Templates written by the vendor's ADHD and routine specialists, such as a 12-task Good Morning Routine, can be added to the app's library from the website.
Achievements and rewards
The feature list includes achievements, customizable rewards that the vendor says keep you motivated over time, and a routine history.
Focus of the Month
Added in 2025 according to the release notes, this prompts you to choose a change to work on and build its steps into a new or existing routine.

Timecap

Time, quantity and completion activities
An activity can run a timer, count how many times something was done or be ticked off as complete, so timed sessions, tallies and check-offs sit in one list.
Goals and limits
Each activity is either a goal to reach, such as meditating 4 times a week, or a limit to stay under, such as 2 cigarettes a week. Periods can be daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or set weekdays.
Reminders and limit alerts
Reminders arrive when a goal is close to being missed, and a notification is sent when a limit is reached.
Streaks and reports
Statistics include a calendar view, a success percentage and a streak counter that compares the current streak with the longest one.
Widgets
Home screen widgets give access to habits without opening the app. The iOS release notes also mention lock screen widgets and an Apple Watch complication.
Backup and sync
Data stays on the device unless backup is turned on. With backup enabled it is stored on Timecap's server and syncs between iOS and Android devices.
