Value for money
CStarter is a flat $97 a month with unlimited users and contacts, which only makes sense split across a team: solo it's dearer than almost any CRM here. Against its own rivals it's reasonable, with Keap at $299 flat. Calls, texts, email sending and premium AI are billed by usage on top of all of it.
CNo price could be confirmed. Thryv's site turned our reader away, and Business Center is sold after a demo with a one-time onboarding fee. The plans on its pricing page are its marketing services, not this software. With no figure it sits at the ordinary grade.
Free plan and trial
DNo free plan, and the 14-day trial wants a card, which is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Put the date in your diary.
FNothing free on record: no free plan and no trial, just a demo before you buy, and a one-time onboarding fee when you do.
Features
AContacts and pipelines with lead scoring, one stream for SMS, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and live chat, builders for websites, funnels and forms, workflows, broadcasts, booking and invoicing. Then the bit no other CRM here does: a sub-account per client, and SaaS Mode to resell it as your own.
CContacts, online booking, estimates, invoices, payments, review requests, social posts, a client portal and email follow-ups. That covers a local business's customer side, but no sales pipeline is on record, and payroll and Marketing Center are add-ons.
Ease of use
CNo rating on record, and this is a platform you build on rather than open and use. Funnels, workflows, sub-accounts and phone numbers all have to be set up before anything happens. Every plan does come with 24/7 support, which you may want.
CNo App Store rating on record. It's sold after a demo with an onboarding fee, which tells you it isn't a sign-up-and-go tool.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android, which is as many places as anything in this category runs. It connects to Google Workspace, Calendly, Mailchimp, Zoom, QuickBooks, Slack, Shopify and Stripe. API access starts on Unlimited at $297.
BWeb, plus an app for iPhone and iPad, with QuickBooks, Google, Mailchimp, Jotform, Facebook and payments through Stripe, PayPal or Square. There's no Android app for Business Center and no desktop app.

Thryv

  • Thryv's website turned our reader away, so no prices are recorded here; its Business Center page sells the software after a demo, with a one-time onboarding fee.
  • The Starter, Signature and Custom plans on Thryv's pricing page are its marketing services (listings, websites, reviews and Boosts), not the software described here.
