Best for reading a page's JSON-LD as a tree
SEOMarkup Schema Inspector shows every JSON-LD block on a page as a searchable tree you can copy, download or send to Google's Rich Results Test, free and open source. That's all it does: Microdata and RDFa are only flagged, not shown, validation happens on Google's and Schema.org's sites, and it runs in Chromium browsers only.
Who SEOMarkup Schema Inspector is for
- Fits if you debug structured data before a release and want to read it as a tree
- Works for seeing which schema types a competitor's page uses
Who SEOMarkup Schema Inspector is not for
- Skip it if the page uses Microdata or RDFa, which are only flagged, not shown
- Too light for validation on its own, as that means opening Google's or Schema.org's tester
- Not for you if you use Firefox or Safari, as it runs in Chromium browsers only
- Watch out: the developer hasn't identified itself as a trader, so EU consumer rights don't apply
Why SEOMarkup Schema Inspector gets a 2.8
Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.
- AValue for moneyFree for good and open source under the MIT license, with no paid tier, trial or card.
- AFree plan and trialFree outright: every feature in the extension, with no account needed.
- DFeaturesOne narrow function: JSON-LD parsed into trees, @graph split up, full-text search, copy and download, and parse error banners. Microdata and RDFa are only detected, and validation means opening Google's or Schema.org's tester.
- BEase of useNo rating on record, but no account and nothing to set up: open a page, click the icon and the schemas are listed.
- CPlatforms and integrationsChrome and other Chromium browsers, so computers only, with no Firefox or Safari version. It hands off to Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator.

Keep it

What is SEOMarkup Schema Inspector?
SEOMarkup Structured Data Schema Inspector is a free Chrome extension that reads every JSON-LD block on the page you are on and shows it as a searchable tree. Each schema can be copied as JSON or as a script tag, downloaded, or sent to Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator. It is open source under the MIT license, needs no account and makes no network requests of its own.
Worth knowing
- Microdata and RDFa are only detected and labelled, not displayed; full parsing covers JSON-LD.
- Validation happens by opening Google's Rich Results Test or validator.schema.org, not inside the extension.
- It is listed for Chrome, and the vendor says it works in other Chromium-based browsers; there is no Firefox or Safari version named.
- The Chrome Web Store notes the developer has not identified itself as a trader, so EU consumer rights do not apply.
Key features
- JSON-LD tree view
- Parses every JSON-LD script block, splits @graph arrays into separate schemas and shows each as an expandable tree.
- Full-text search
- Search for a property name, value or URL across all schemas on the page, with next and previous match buttons.
- Copy, download, validate
- Copy a schema as raw JSON or a ready-to-paste script tag, download it as a .json file, or open the page in Google's Rich Results Test or validator.schema.org.
- Parse error banners
- When a JSON-LD block is malformed, a banner shows which block broke and why.
- Microdata and RDFa detection
- Flags when a page also uses Microdata or RDFa, though only JSON-LD is shown in full.
- Schema.org links
- Click any schema type to open its documentation on Schema.org.
