How we grade them

Value for money
BBuyers pay by default, so you keep the ticket price. Billetto charges in euros: 3.99% + €0.90 a ticket plus VAT, €339.60 on 200 €20 tickets, with no separate card fee listed. You can absorb it instead, and the Growth plan, for 1,000+ tickets a year, can bring it down.
CBuyers pay by default, so you keep the ticket price, but the fee is the dearest here: 3.7% + $1.79 a ticket is $506 on 200 $20 tickets, with 2.9% processing per order on top that we haven't counted. Absorb it and it's yours. More than 250 emails a day needs Pro from $15 a month.
Free plan and trial
ANo monthly or setup fee on either plan, with the marketplace, email and text campaigns included. Essential covers up to 1,000 tickets a year, and above that Growth still has no monthly fee, with the ticket fee agreed case by case.
BFree to publish as many events as you like, and free events carry no fees at all. The free account sends 250 marketing emails a day, and more needs Pro from $15 a month. A small series could run on it for good.
Features
BSeating charts, memberships, early bird tickets, email and text campaigns, check-in by zone and entrance, a point-of-sale system, and ads on Google and Meta you pay for only when tickets sell. Money before the event needs the Growth plan.
BMarketplace listing, ticket types, add-ons, waitlists, reserved seating, timed entry, email campaigns, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok promotion, a check-in app with Tap to Pay, and payouts before the event. It covers the whole job.
Ease of use
CNo App Store rating on record. An AI helper drafts event descriptions and suggests prices, but there are pages and tickets to build, and selling at the door needs an Adyen card terminal at €199.
A4.79 from 32,637 App Store ratings, and that's for the Eventbrite Organizer app, the one you use to run the door. Making an event is guided, with AI help to write it up.
Platforms and integrations
BWeb, iPhone and Android, with Adyen, PayPal, MobilePay, Vipps, Apple Pay and Google Pay, a public API and webhooks. But it runs only in 14 European countries, not the US, and there's no desktop app.
BWeb, iPhone and Android, with Mailchimp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and a public API. No desktop app, which an A needs, and its pricing plans are offered only in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland.
