SiteGuru review (2026): is the free plan enough?
SEO audit tool that turns site crawls into a prioritized task list

Best for audit to-do lists for small agencies
SiteGuru crawls your site every week and turns what it finds into a ranked to-do list, with white-label reports and unlimited users on every plan. But every plan stops at 5,000 pages and 2,500 keywords per site, so large sites are out. And the pricing page doesn't say what the free plan keeps once the 6-week trial ends.
Who SiteGuru is for
- Fits if you're a small agency sending audits to clients under your own brand
- Works for marketers who want a short list of fixes instead of a full crawl export
Who SiteGuru is not for
- Too light for sites past 5,000 pages, the audit cap on every plan
- Watch out: the three paid plans share the same page and keyword limits, so paying more buys websites, not depth
- Skip it if you were counting on the free plan, as the pricing page doesn't say what it includes
Why SiteGuru gets a 2.2
Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.
- CValue for moneySmall is $39 a month billed annually ($49 monthly) for 5 websites, above this category's middle of $29. Users are unlimited, but the dearer plans add only websites, competitor analyses and support, not bigger audits.
- CFree plan and trialA 6-week trial with no card and no automatic billing, then a free plan. The pricing page doesn't say what that free plan keeps, so we can't count on it.
- CFeaturesWeekly crawls, indexation and hreflang checks, structured data, content decay, AI referral traffic, internal links and backlink monitoring. The gap is size: every plan caps audits at 5,000 pages and 2,500 keywords per site.
- CEase of useNo rating on record. It hands you a to-do list rather than raw crawl data, but you still connect Search Console and Google Analytics before most reports work.
- BPlatforms and integrationsWeb only. It connects to Search Console, Google Analytics and Slack, with webhooks and MCP access for Claude and ChatGPT. No desktop or phone app.

Keep SiteGuru, or make your own?
Keep it
To replace SiteGuru you would be making an index of the links between billions of web pages. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 43 of the 83 other technical SEO tools grade higher. It costs $468 a year.
What you could make
- Internal linking, schema markup and reports: an app builder makes these well.
What you could not
- An index of the links between billions of web pages.
- A crawler that checks every page of a site.
- Speed tests run from real browsers on a schedule.
- It plugs into other products, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Slack among them.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
What this rests on. SiteGuru’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
What is SiteGuru?
SiteGuru crawls a website every week and turns technical, on-page and content problems into a ranked to-do list, with AI suggestions for fixes. It joins the crawl with Search Console and Google Analytics data for keyword, content decay and AI referral traffic reports, and adds internal link and backlink checks. Plans are priced by the number of websites and include white-label reports for agencies.
Worth knowing
- Every plan caps audits at 5,000 pages and 2,500 keywords per site, so it does not suit very large sites.
- The three paid plans share the same page, keyword and audit limits; they differ in websites, competitor analyses and support.
- The pricing page does not say what the free plan keeps after the 6-week trial.
Key features
- Technical audit and task list
- Weekly scheduled crawls plus unlimited manual ones check up to 5,000 pages per site and sort the issues into a list of what to fix first.
- Indexation, sitemaps and hreflang
- Tracks which pages Google has indexed, keeps XML sitemaps clean, validates hreflang tags and checks structured data for rich results.
- Keyword and content reports
- Groups keywords into search topics and flags content decay, low-hanging keywords, branded versus non-branded traffic and Google update effects.
- AI traffic report
- From Google Analytics data, shows how many visits come from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Claude, and which pages they land on.
- Links
- Suggests internal links to underperforming pages, finds broken links and redirects, and monitors backlinks' anchor text and status codes.
- White-label reports and MCP
- PDF and HTML reports under your own logo and subdomain, a custom report builder, unlimited client seats, Slack and webhooks, and MCP access for AI assistants.
