How we grade them

3.0GPALindyVery good3.0GPASaunaVery good
Value for money
B$29.99 a user each month, with 3,000 credits per seat pooled across the team. That's at the dear end of typical here. Bigger bundles cost less per credit, like 15,000 for $99.99, and top-ups are $10 per 1,000. Monthly credits don't roll over.
CLite is $29 a month, at the top of what agents usually start at, and it runs only on the Sauna Lite model. All the AI models need Basic at $99, shared folders need Pro at $299, and browser automation is on the $999 Team plan. There's no yearly discount.
Free plan and trial
CNo lasting free plan. You start with $50 in free credits and no credit card, but they only last 7 days. After that it's $29.99 per user a month.
BFree for good: 100 credits a day, or 200 with a verified payment card on file. But there's no monthly allowance, unused credits don't roll over, and Sauna publishes no rates for what a task costs. So how far 100 goes is anyone's guess.
Features
AOne shared teammate in Slack that connects to Gmail, Notion, HubSpot and more than 1,000 other apps. It records meetings into a shared library, runs routines you set up in a sentence, comes with 40+ skills and keeps its memory in plain files you can edit. Anything with outside impact waits for approval.
AThe same agent and memory follow you across the web app, the iPhone app, iMessage, Slack and email. It keeps notes on your preferences plus a searchable history, runs saved prompts hourly, daily or weekly, and connects to thousands of apps. It can even build a small CRM or approvals app on your data.
Ease of use
BYou @mention it in Slack like a colleague, and a routine such as a Monday report is set up in one sentence. There's no rating on record to go by, so a B.
BYou message it like a teammate, forward it an email, or copy it on a thread. Connecting your tools comes first. There's no rating on record to go by, so a B.

Recurring work such as a morning brief, a Monday report or a Friday nudge can be set up in a sentence and run on a schedule.

Sauna

One agent on several surfaces
The same agent and memory are available in the web app and iOS app and by iMessage, Slack, email and Superhuman, including by forwarding a message or copying Sauna on a thread.
Persistent memory
