Best for a voice assistant for a home full of Echo devices
Alexa+ is the Alexa you know, rebuilt so you can actually talk to it. It keeps the thread of a conversation, runs the lights and the thermostat, and books an Uber or a table through connected services. Prime members get the lot at no extra cost, while everyone else gets a limited free version that doesn't work on an Echo, which rather misses the point.

- BFree plan and trialFree works on Alexa.com, in the Alexa app and on compatible Fire TV devices, with a daily limit that Amazon says varies with your activity and overall demand. It doesn't cover Echo devices at all. Eligible customers get a 30-day free trial of Prime or Standard.
