Value for money
BStarter is $20 a month for 5,000 credits, about where agents in this category start, and unused credits roll over up to twice the monthly amount. One oddity: there's no public pricing page, so these tiers come from release notes dated February 3, 2026.
BPro is $19 a month, billed monthly, about where agents in this category start. It adds frontier models, background automations and higher limits, though the listing can't say how high. Ultra is a big jump, at $199 a month.
Free plan and trial
CNo free plan. New users get a 3-day trial with 500 credits, and no credit card is needed to start it. After that it's a subscription or credit packs.
BFree for good, no credit card, with your apps, email and calendar connected. But the usage allowance is small, and nobody says how small. When it runs out, Poke answers in a lighter mode until it refills. Background automations start at Pro.
Features
AIt sends email from its own address, makes phone calls with an AI voice, browses and acts on websites, runs code and makes documents, slide decks and websites. It pauses while it waits for a reply, runs daily, weekly or monthly jobs, and with Plan Mode on it shows you the steps first.
BIt reads, searches and drafts email, schedules meetings, sets reminders and messages you when something needs attention. Recipes add apps like Notion, GitHub and Linear in one step. The gaps: email is Gmail and Outlook only, and real-world errands go to a person on the $199 Ultra plan.
Ease of use
BYou hand it a goal and it messages you when it needs a decision, and texts you if it really can't go on without one. No rating is on record to show how people get on with it, so a B.
BYou text it like a contact, by voice message if you like, so there's nothing new to learn. Settings live on the website. There's no rating on record to go by, so a B.
Platforms and integrations
BWeb and an iPhone app, with connections to Gmail, Slack, Google Sheets, Notion, Trello and GitHub. No Android listing is linked. Its own pages disagree on how many apps it connects to: the homepage says 3,000+, the App Store says 10,000+.
BIt works in Apple Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram and RCS, but it has no app of its own. It connects to Gmail, Outlook, Notion, GitHub, Linear and Oura. Developers get an API and can add their own tools through MCP servers.

Key features

Do Anything

Built-in toolkit
The agent can send and manage email, make phone calls with an AI voice, browse and act on websites, run research, write and execute code, and create documents, slide decks, images and websites.
Agent identity
Each agent has its own name and email address, which it can use to sign up for services and manage accounts, and it can also be connected to accounts you already have.
Check-ins by message and text
When the agent asks you something it waits 60 seconds, then reconsiders and tries another route. For input it really needs, it texts you until you answer or tell it to stop.
Pausing and scheduled work
The agent pauses while it waits on something such as an email reply and resumes where it left off. Recurring automations can run daily, weekly or monthly.
Plan Mode
With Plan Mode on, the agent writes out the steps it intends to take so you can review and edit them before approving the run.
Custom skills and subagents
You can upload markdown files or written instructions that the agent keeps across conversations, and it can hand parts of a job to helper agents.

Poke

Works inside messaging apps
You use Poke by texting it in Apple Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram or RCS, including by voice message, and you can choose which channel it texts you on.
Email and calendar
Reads, searches and drafts email and schedules meetings, with full support for Gmail and Outlook inboxes, calendars and contact sync.
Recipes
Recipes set up integrations and automations in one step and can be shared with others. The directory covers apps such as Notion, GitHub, Linear and Oura.
Reminders and proactive updates
Creates reminders and gets a head start on tasks from a text, then draws on connected services and its memory to message you when something needs attention.
Custom integrations and API
Developers can add custom integrations through MCP servers, and the Poke API lets scripts, webhooks and other tools send messages to your assistant.
Poke Human
On Ultra, real-world tasks such as restaurant reservations, phone calls and orders are dispatched to a person, who sees only the details needed for that task.
