Pomodor
- People who want a plain Pomodoro timer in a browser tab

Worth knowing
Flocus
- Browser-based only: there is no iOS or Android app, and the help center says it is designed for desktop and tablet.
- The free plan holds 3 tasks at a time and shows focus stats for a single day.
- Cross-device sync, the full theme and sound libraries and weekly and monthly stats need Flocus Plus.
- The refund policy says all Flocus Plus transactions are final sale; you can cancel, but past payments are not refunded.
Pomodor
- The site's description mentions session labels and a stats page, but the app as loaded without signing in shows only a timer and settings.
- It is no longer open source: the GitHub repository is archived, and its README says updates now come from a closed-source repository.
- Google is the only sign-in method the app offers.
- It is a web app only; on phones and computers it is installed from the browser as a progressive web app.
Key features
Flocus
- Focus timer with several modes
- Pomodoro, countdown, stopwatch, Animedoro and 52/17 modes, each with adjustable focus and break lengths. A picture-in-picture window keeps the timer visible in Chrome and Edge.
- Priority to-do list
- A drag-and-drop task list keeps the current task front and center. Free accounts hold 3 tasks at once; Plus removes the cap and adds durations and ETAs.
- Focus stats and streaks
- Every timed session is logged automatically, with a daily streak. Daily stats are free; weekly and monthly views and charts need Plus.
- Music
- Play curated focus playlists or paste a playlist or track link from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or SoundCloud.
- Ambient sounds and soundscapes
- White, pink and brown noise and binaural beats can be layered with ambient sounds such as rain, a cafe or a campfire, and mixed with music. Plus unlocks the full library.
- Themes
- Animated or static backgrounds set the look of the dashboard. Plus adds every theme, uploads of your own images and backgrounds from a YouTube URL.
Pomodor
- Adjustable timer
- Work sessions run from 5 to 60 minutes, short breaks from 1 to 30 and long breaks from 1 to 45, over 2 to 15 rounds. The defaults are 25, 5 and 20 minutes across 4 rounds.
- Notifications and sounds
- A notification marks the end of each session, with eight notification sounds to pick from, among them Bell, Guitar and Fairy. Notifications can be switched off in the settings.
- Timer in the tab title
- The remaining time can be shown in the browser tab's title. The setting is on by default, alongside toggles for Autostart and dark mode.
- Google sign-in and sync
- Signing in with a Google account is optional. The site says it syncs your data, and the app saves your timer settings to your account.
- Offline use and install
- A service worker caches the app so that it can run without an internet connection once loaded, and it can be installed from the browser as a standalone app.
