Best for wholesalers who scan stock with their phones

inFlow is a solid all-rounder for wholesalers, distributors and installers: stock across locations, sales orders through to invoices, purchasing and barcode scanning from ordinary phones, on web, Windows, iPhone and Android. Lite starts at $99 a month billed yearly, but lot numbers, the API and the B2B portal are add-ons there, and every bigger plan needs a $499 onboarding package.

Who inFlow is for

  • Great if you sell to trade customers and want an ordering portal for them
  • Handy when stock sits in vans and on job sites as well as in the warehouse
  • Good for teams that want to scan barcodes with ordinary phones

Who inFlow is not for

  • Pricey if you need lot numbers, serials or the API, which are add-ons below Pro or Max
  • Not for you if you make products from materials, as bills of materials need inFlow Manufacturing
  • Tight if your team grows, since Lite has 2 team members and extras are $29 a month each

Why inFlow gets a 2.6

Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.

  • CValue for moneyFor a shop and an online store, Lite does it: $99 a month billed yearly ($129 monthly) for 2 team members, 1 location and unlimited integrations. Right in the middle of this category. A second location is $39 a month more, and Core jumps to $299 plus $499 onboarding.
  • CFree plan and trialNo free plan, just a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Long enough to scan in some stock and connect your store before paying.
  • BFeaturesStock across locations, sales orders to invoices, purchase orders with reorder points, barcode scanning, lots and serials, and a B2B portal. The whole stock-control job, though lots, serials and the portal are $39 add-ons on lower plans, and makers need the separate inFlow Manufacturing.
  • CEase of useNo store rating on record. You'll import products, set up locations and connect your store and accounting, and every plan above Lite requires a $499 onboarding package.
  • APlatforms and integrationsWeb, Windows, iPhone and Android, with Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Etsy, QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zapier, plus an API ($49 a month on lower plans). That's the full spread.
