Value for money
CCofounder Pro starts at $120 a month, several times what most agents here start at, and the terms add usage-based charges billed afterwards. You do get a lot of departments for it. But you can't bring your own API key to keep the bill down.
BPlans start at $50 a month for 20,000 credits, shared by the whole workspace with no per-seat charge. That's dear for one person and about typical once two or three share it. Unused credits roll over for a month. Scheduled jobs use credits every time they run.
Free plan and trial
CNo free plan. There's a 7-day free trial with the design system builder, landing page hosting and the strategy and analysis tools. The pricing page doesn't say whether it asks for a card.
CNo free plan that renews. You get up to $100 in credits, once, with every feature and integration and no credit card, and they never expire. Generous for a trial. When they're gone, you need a paid plan.
Features
AAgents sorted into departments, from engineering and marketing to support and finance. They find and email prospects, run campaigns, publish social posts and keep repeating routines going. Risky steps wait for your approval, and it sets up GitHub, Vercel and Supabase for you.
AIt queries your tools, analyses the data and hands back PDFs, spreadsheets, reports and dashboards. Recurring jobs run on a schedule. It builds and deploys internal web apps with a database and login, and can open a pull request with a fix. Sensitive actions wait for a person's approval.
Ease of use
BEach department comes with default agents, and it sets up and manages GitHub, Vercel and Supabase for you, so there's little to wire together. There's no rating on record to go by, so a B.
BInstall it from the Slack App Directory or in Microsoft Teams, then mention it in a thread the way you would a colleague. There's no rating on record to go by, so a B.
Platforms and integrations
BA web app, with integrations for GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, Linear, Stripe, Slack, Gmail and Notion. There's a command-line tool, an MCP server and a REST API too. The listing has no phone or desktop app.
BIt's used through Slack or Microsoft Teams, and the site lists no standalone desktop or mobile app. It connects to a lot: 27 native integrations with full read and write access, including Stripe, GitHub, Linear and Notion, and 3,200+ tools through managed connectors.

Who each one suits

Cofounder

  • Solo founders and small teams launching an early-stage software company
  • Founders who build the product themselves and want help with go-to-market
  • Handing outreach, content and recurring operations to agents with approvals

Viktor

  • Teams that already work in Slack or Microsoft Teams
  • Recurring reports pulled from ads, billing and CRM tools
  • Small companies that want internal tools built without engineers

Worth knowing

Cofounder

  • There is no lasting free plan: after the 7-day trial, Cofounder Pro starts at $120 a month, and the terms bill usage-based charges in arrears.
  • The Team Plan, planned at $100 per seat, is not yet available; the pricing page offers only a waitlist.
  • The documentation says Cofounder is not intended to build or rebuild your core product, database, authentication or hosting stack.
  • You cannot bring your own API key or a Codex or Claude Code subscription, according to the pricing FAQ.

Viktor

  • Viktor is used through Slack or Microsoft Teams; its site lists no standalone desktop or mobile app.
  • The free allowance is a one-time $100 in credits rather than a recurring free plan.
  • Everything runs on workspace credits, including scheduled automations, so frequent jobs raise the monthly cost.
  • Per-user spend caps, invoicing and custom billing terms are reserved for Enterprise.

Key features

Cofounder

Departments of agents
Work is split across departments, each with agents that have their own instructions, integrations and skills. Default agents cover engineering, marketing, design, sales, support, operations and finance.
Approvals before risky actions
Agents run several tasks in the background at once, and actions the vendor treats as potentially dangerous, such as incorporating an LLC or opening a bank account, wait for your approval.
Managed GitHub, Vercel and Supabase
Cofounder sets up and manages GitHub, Vercel and Supabase projects for you. Pro and Team users can claim ownership at any point, after which Cofounder no longer manages the configuration.
Sales and marketing work
Agents research customers, find and enrich prospects, send outreach from inboxes provisioned for them, run email campaigns and publish social posts, drawing on shared company context.
Routines
A routine is a repeating job for one agent, such as a daily status update, a weekly metrics review or a monthly cleanup checklist. An agent can have several.
CLI, MCP server and REST API
Besides the web app, your own agent can run a company through Cofounder's hosted MCP server, the cofounder command-line tool or the REST API, with API keys for scripting.

Viktor

Lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams
Installed from the Slack App Directory or Microsoft Teams and addressed in threads and mentions like a colleague, so everyone on the team can work with it.
Connections to 3,200+ tools
27 native integrations with full read and write access, including Stripe, GitHub, Linear and Notion, plus more than 3,200 tools through managed connectors.
Finished deliverables
Queries connected tools, analyzes the data and hands back outputs such as PDFs, spreadsheets, reports and dashboards rather than instructions.
Scheduled tasks
Recurring work, such as a weekly revenue dashboard or a morning metrics summary, runs on a schedule. Scheduled automations use credits each time they run.
Web apps and code
Builds and deploys internal tools as web apps with a database, auth and hosting, and can clone a repository, write a fix on a branch and open a pull request.
Approvals and activity log
Sensitive actions wait for a person's approval before they run, and Viktor posts back what changed, with its activity logged.
