We give Eigent a 3.4 GPA and Nebula a 3.2, out of 4.0. Eigent grades higher on the free plan. Nebula grades higher on platforms. They get the same grade on value for money, features and ease of use.

How we grade them
| 3.4GPAEigentVery good | 3.2GPANebulaVery good | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | BPlus is $19.99 a month, or $199.90 a year, for 2,000 task credits and the Claude and Grok models. That's about typical here. Pro jumps to $99.99 a month for 10,000 credits. With your own keys you may not need either. | B$25 a seat each month, about what agents in this category cost. That covers unlimited messaging, calls, orchestration and web research, plus one cloud computer. Tasks you hand to Nebula's own agents draw on credits you buy separately, and no plan adds any each month. |
| Free plan and trial | AThe app is free to use with your own API keys or local models, for as long as you like. You also get 1,000 credits for signing up and 500 per invite, but those are one-offs, not a monthly allowance. The code is open source and can be self-hosted. | CNo free plan. Every seat gets a 7-day free trial, and the listing doesn't say whether you need a card to start it. After that everyone pays, the owner included. |
| Features | AHand a task to one agent, or to a Workforce that splits it among workers running in parallel. Agents use a browser, a terminal and your files, keep memory, ask for approval, and run on a schedule or when an event fires. Some connectors and chat channels are still marked coming soon. | AEach channel holds one goal, with text, voice, video and screen sharing in it. An orchestrator breaks the goal into tasks and can set up specialist agents. Tasks run on a schedule, monitors watch for a change, and agents act through your Gmail, Slack, GitHub and Notion. |
| Ease of use | BIt's a desktop app you download, and it can run on Eigent's own cloud models, so you don't have to bring a key to start. Your own keys or local models take more setting up. There's no rating on record to go by, so a B. | BNebula's own agents need no setup, and you talk to them in a channel like anyone else. It's apps you install, with no rating on record, so a B. One snag: the docs say the Windows installer isn't code-signed yet. |
| Platforms and integrations | BMac, Windows and Linux. The download page says mobile and tablet aren't supported. Guided connectors cover Notion, Slack, Google Calendar, Gmail, LinkedIn and Lark, and you can add any MCP server. | AMac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android, plus a command-line app. Agents connect to Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Notion, Linear and Stripe, and you can add MCP servers. The docs point you to the apps, not to a browser version. |
| Best for | a desktop agent on your own keys or local models | teams working in the same chat as their agents |

Who each one suits
Eigent
- People who want a desktop agent that runs on their own API keys or local models
- Long tasks that can be split among several agents working in parallel
- Teams that want to self-host and inspect the code they run
Nebula
- Teams that want agents working in the same chat as the people
- Developers already paying for Claude Code or Codex who want to share them
- Recurring work run as scheduled tasks and monitors
Worth knowing
Eigent
- Desktop only: the download page says Eigent is not supported on mobile or tablet.
- The Free plan's credits are a one-time 1,000 registration bonus plus invite bonuses; it has no monthly credit allowance.
- The Teams plan, with a shared library and centralized billing, is listed as Coming Soon.
- The docs mark the Telegram, Lark and WhatsApp channels and the X, WhatsApp, Reddit and GitHub connectors as Coming soon.
Nebula
- There is no free plan: every member, the owner included, needs a $25 seat once the 7-day trial ends.
- No subscription adds credits each month. Tasks by Nebula's own agents and cloud-device time draw on Nebula Credits you top up.
- A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play covers one seat; adding teammates means moving billing to a card on the web.
- The docs point users to the desktop, mobile and command-line apps rather than a browser version, and say the Windows installer is not yet code-signed.
Key features
Eigent
- Single Agent and Workforce modes
- Give a task to one agent, or to a Workforce that splits it among specialized workers running in parallel. You can define your own workers and choose the tools each one gets.
- Spaces, Sessions and Tasks
- A Space holds related Sessions and working files and can be tied to a local folder. Space profiles package agents, skills and connectors so the same setup is reused.
- Browser agents
- Agents navigate pages, click, type and capture screenshots in a managed or connected Chrome DevTools Protocol browser, and can use imported cookies for signed-in sessions.
- Automations
- Scheduled automations run recurring work, Event automations respond to webhooks and external events, and App automations react to events in connected applications.
- Connectors and MCP
- Guided connectors cover Notion, Slack, Google Calendar, Gmail, LinkedIn and Lark, and you can add a local or remote MCP server for a service that is not in the catalog.
- Cloud, own-key or local models
- Use managed Eigent Cloud models billed in credits, your own provider API keys, or local models served by Ollama, vLLM, SGLang, LM Studio or LLaMA.cpp.
Nebula
- Channels
- A channel is one room for a goal, holding its people, agents, calls, tasks and apps. Text, voice and video with screen sharing all happen in the same conversation.
- Orchestrator
- Every workspace has one orchestrator that works out what a goal needs, proposes specialist agents, hands each its part and answers quick questions in the chat.
- Your agents or Nebula's
- Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini CLI or another agent you run and it bills your own plan. Nebula's built-in agents need no setup and are paid for with credits.
- Tasks, schedules and monitors
- Larger requests become tasks that run in a thread and report back. Tasks can also run on a schedule, and a monitor can be set to watch for a change.
- Devices
- Agents work on a cloud device or on your own computer with computer use turned on. A subscribed workspace starts with one small cloud device of 2 CPUs and 8 GB RAM.
- Connections and apps
- Agents act through your Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Notion, Linear, Stripe and other accounts, and MCP servers can be added. Trackers, dashboards and forms can be built by describing them.
