Worth knowing
2sync
- There is no free plan: every plan starts with a 14-day trial, and syncs stop running if the subscription is canceled.
- Notion is always one side of a sync. Each automation links one Notion database to one app, and plans allow 1, 3 or 10 of them.
- Solo is limited to 3,000 synced items, a 6-month sync window and a 5-minute sync frequency.
- Changes move on the next scheduled run, every 2 to 5 minutes depending on plan, and email syncs only into Notion.
Make
- The Free plan allows only 2 active scenarios and 1,000 credits a month, with at least 15 minutes between scheduled runs.
- Credits expire at the end of each term, and extra credits cost 25% more than those included in the plan.
- Teams and roles, custom variables and enterprise apps are not part of the Free plan.
- The $9 price applies to annual billing; the pricing page says annual billing saves 15% or more over monthly.
Key features
2sync
- Two-way sync with Notion databases
- An edit in Notion or in the connected app is carried to the other side on the next run, within minutes. Conflict handling applies when both sides change at the same time.
- Per-field mapping and direction
- Any Notion property can be mapped to a field in the other app, and each field syncs two-way, one-way to Notion or one-way to the app. Filters decide which items sync.
- Calendars, tasks, contacts and sheets
- Two-way integrations cover Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Todoist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, Google Contacts, Outlook Contacts and a Google Sheets tab.
- Email into Notion
- Gmail and Outlook Mail messages are saved into a Notion database. This is the one integration type that syncs in a single direction, toward Notion.
- Scheduled runs with logs and alerts
- Automations run in the background from every 2 minutes to daily, depending on plan and settings, with a sync history, detailed logs and email alerts when a sync has a problem.
- No copies of synced data
- The vendor says it processes data to perform syncs but stores only the links between items and the configuration, not copies of events, tasks or contacts.
Make
- Visual scenario builder
- Scenarios are built by placing app modules on a canvas and linking them with routers and filters, so branching logic is visible at a glance.
- 3,000+ pre-built apps
- Make lists more than 3,000 app integrations, among them OpenAI, HubSpot, Salesforce and Slack. Access to enterprise apps comes with the paid plan.
- Credit-based billing
- Most module actions use 1 credit. The paid plan starts at 5,000 credits a month, and extra credits are sold in bundles of 1,000 or 10,000 at 25% more than plan credits.
- AI agents, Maia and MCP
- AI agents can be built to orchestrate workflows, Maia builds automations from a conversation, and the Make MCP server lets outside AI assistants trigger scenarios.
- Make Grid
- Make Grid gives a map of an organization's scenarios and how they connect, to keep a large automation setup under control.
- Teams, variables and API
- The paid plan adds teams and team roles, custom variables, full-text search of execution logs and access to more than 300 Make API endpoints.
