Whalesync
Two-way data sync between spreadsheets, databases and SaaS apps

What is Whalesync?
Whalesync is a no-code tool that keeps records in two apps identical: a change made in either one is written to the other. It centers on Airtable, Notion and Google Sheets, connecting them to website builders, databases and CRMs such as Webflow, Supabase, Postgres and HubSpot. Plans are priced by the number of records kept in sync, with unlimited updates to those records.
Whalesync is a paid product with a free trial, starting at $32 / month, billed yearly, for 2,000 records ($40 billed monthly). See every plan
Good for
- Running a Webflow or WordPress site's content from Airtable or Notion
- Operations teams bulk-editing CRM records from a spreadsheet
- Teams that want records mirrored both ways, not trigger-based automations
Worth knowing
- There is no free plan: when the 7-day trial ends, syncing pauses until a plan is chosen.
- Starter stops at 2,000 records in sync. CRM connectors such as HubSpot need Plus, and Salesforce and Affinity need Pro.
- Yearly plans are paid up front and cannot be downgraded or switched to monthly billing until the year is over.
- More than 50,000 records in sync means booking a demo instead of buying online.
Key features
- Two-way sync
- A sync connects two apps. You map tables and fields, choose a direction for each, and turn it on; changes on either side are then written to the other as they happen.
- Records-in-sync pricing
- A record counts once when it first syncs, and is not counted again for the second app. Updates to synced records are unlimited, as are mappings and active syncs.
- Linked records, rich text and images
- Syncs carry multi-reference fields, rich text and images, which lets a spreadsheet act as the content source for a site built in Webflow, Framer or WordPress.
- Issues and operation logs
- Records that cannot sync appear on an Issues page with the exact error from the destination app, while the rest keep syncing. Email alerts and operation logs are included.
- Live Export
- A read-only copy of data from tools such as HubSpot, Shopify, Stripe, Linear and QuickBooks, kept up to date in Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion or Supabase. Included on every plan.
- API and MCP server
- The documentation covers an API reference and an MCP server, so syncs can be managed from code or from an AI agent as well as the web app.
