Best for AI tracking with a site chat agent added

Botric tracks prompts on up to five AI engines and adds a content writer, a site audit and a chat agent for your website, with a free plan for 5 prompts on ChatGPT. But prompts re-run weekly on every plan, Gemini and Claude need the $149 Infinity plan, and the pricing page never says what a credit buys.

Who Botric is for

  • Fits if you want tracking, blog drafts and a site chat agent in one tool
  • Works for small sites trying ChatGPT tracking on 5 free prompts first

Who Botric is not for

  • Skip it if you need daily tracking, as prompts re-run weekly on every plan
  • Pricey if you need Gemini or Claude, which start at Infinity for $149 a month, or $136 billed yearly
  • Tight if you start on Bit: 15 prompts on ChatGPT and AI Overviews, 1 site and 1 seat
  • Watch out: audits, tracking and content draw on monthly credits, and the pricing page doesn't say what one credit buys
  • Watch out: the managed service is quoted on a call and needs 3 months at least

Why Botric gets a 2.6

Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.

  • AValue for moneyBit is $12.50 a month billed yearly, $15 monthly, under $17.40, which is 60% of where this category's cheaper quarter starts. It buys 15 prompts on ChatGPT and AI Overviews, re-run weekly. Perplexity needs Byte at $45, and Gemini and Claude need Infinity at $136.
  • CFree plan and trialA free plan with no card: 5 prompts on ChatGPT, a site and GEO audit, 800 credits, 1 site and 1 seat. Paid plans also have a 7-day trial. 5 prompts is a cap you'll hit.
  • CFeaturesPrompt and citation tracking with a 0 to 100 score, a content agent, a site audit with llms.txt and schema checks, a website chat agent and AI traffic from GA4. The gap the listing names: prompts re-run weekly, not daily, on every plan.
  • CEase of useNo rating on record. Audits, tracking and content all draw on one credit allowance that the pricing page doesn't explain, so it's hard to know what a plan really covers.
  • BPlatforms and integrationsWeb only, with no desktop or phone app. It connects Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Cal.com, and the chat agent goes on your site with one script.

Keep Botric, or make your own?

Keep it

To replace Botric you would be making an AI model answering your customers from your own help articles. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.6 is higher than 146 of the 157 other AI search visibility tools we grade. It costs $150 a year.

What you could make

  • Long-form writing: an app builder makes this well.

What you could not

  • An AI model answering your customers from your own help articles.
  • The same prompts asked of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI answers every day, and the answers kept.
  • A crawler that checks every page of a site.
  • A score built from what the top results for each keyword cover.

What this rests on. Botric’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.

What is Botric?

Botric tracks how ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude mention and cite a brand, re-running its prompts every week and rolling them into a 0 to 100 visibility score. It adds a site audit, an agent that drafts blog posts and page fixes for prompts the brand is missing, and a chat agent for the website trained on the company's own docs. Self-serve plans are priced by prompts and engines, and a managed service is sold separately.

Worth knowing

  • Prompts are re-run weekly, not daily, on every plan.
  • Bit covers only ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews; Gemini and Claude need Infinity at $149 a month.
  • Audits, prompt tracking and content actions draw on a monthly credit allowance; the pricing page does not say what one credit buys.
  • The annual saving varies: 17% on Bit and about one free month on Byte and Infinity.
