PageFly report card

1.8GPA

Weak · out of 4.0 · graded Oct 17, 2026

Best for custom Shopify pages on a small budget

PageFly builds home, product and landing pages inside a Shopify store, from a prompt or by dragging blocks around. There's a free plan for one page, and Builder is $24 a month for five. It only works with Shopify, though, so you're paying for that too, and A/B testing starts at $39.

Who PageFly is for

  • Great if you run a Shopify store and want product pages your theme can't do
  • Handy when you want to test page versions to lift sales, from $39 a month
  • Good for stores selling in several countries, with AI translation and Markets

Who PageFly is not for

  • Skip it if you're not on Shopify, as it works nowhere else
  • Tight if you need more than 5 pages, as Builder's slots climb in $5 steps
  • Not for you if you might leave, since uninstalling with its data removed blanks the pages

Why PageFly gets a 1.8

Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.

  • CValue for moneyGraded against its alternatives, GemPages and the landing page builders. Builder is $24 a month for 5 published pages, monthly only, on top of your Shopify plan. GemPages charges $29 for unlimited pages, where PageFly's unlimited plan is $99. A/B tests start at $39.
  • CFree plan and trialA free plan with no time limit and the full template library, but it publishes 1 page or section and gives 10 AI credits a month. Fine for trying it, not for running a store on.
  • DFeaturesIt does the Shopify page job fully: AI pages, 320+ templates, A/B tests, heatmaps, funnel analytics and translation. But it's only useful inside a Shopify store, which is the actual website, and it needs that Shopify plan as well.
  • CEase of useNo rating on record. Describe a page and FlyMate AI builds it, and the editor is drag-and-drop, but there's still learning to do, and you need a Shopify store set up first.
  • CPlatforms and integrationsIt runs only inside Shopify and is billed through your Shopify bill. Within that it links to Klaviyo, Omnisend, Judge.me, Loox, Yotpo, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, but nothing outside Shopify.

Keep PageFly, or make your own?

Keep it

To replace PageFly you would be making a builder that other people can use without writing code. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 28 of the 30 other website and landing page builders grade higher. It costs $288 a year.

What you could make

  • Templates: an app builder makes this well.

What you could not

  • A builder that other people can use without writing code.
  • It plugs into other products, Shopify, Klaviyo and Omnisend among them.
  • AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.

What this rests on. PageFly’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.

What is PageFly?

PageFly is a page builder sold as a Shopify app. It builds home, product, collection and landing pages for a Shopify store from a prompt or in a drag-and-drop editor, with more than 320 templates. Higher plans add conversion tools such as A/B testing, click heatmaps and funnel analytics.

PageFly has a free plan. Paid plans start at $24 per month for up to 5 published pages or sections, billed monthly. See every plan

Good for

  • Shopify merchants who want custom product and landing pages without code
  • Stores testing page versions to lift conversion rate
  • Brands localizing pages for several Shopify Markets

Worth knowing

  • It works only inside a Shopify store and is billed through the Shopify bill, so a Shopify plan is needed as well.
  • The Free plan publishes just 1 page or section; Builder starts at 5 and adds slots in $5 steps.
  • A/B testing, heatmaps and the sales funnel start at Optimize, from $39 a month.
  • Uninstalling with PageFly's data removed leaves the pages built with it blank; keeping the data keeps its theme templates working.
