Worth knowing
CallHippo

- US texting needs A2P registration, with a one-time $20 setup fee and monthly charges on top.
- Call recording, IVR and the main CRM integrations start on Professional; single sign-on needs Ultimate.
- The AI Voice Agent costs $45 per user a month plus $0.25 a minute, and the high-volume Pro Suite with dialers is priced separately.
KrispCall
- There is no free trial or free plan; paid plans carry a 14-day refund on the subscription only, not on numbers, credits or add-ons.
- Starter is capped at 5 users and Advance at 50. The desktop apps for Windows, Mac and Linux are marked coming soon.
- Texting US numbers needs A2P 10DLC registration: a $4.50 brand fee and a $15 vetting fee once, then $1.50 or $2 a month per campaign.
- The pricing FAQ still says calls and SMS are billed pay-as-you-go, while the plan cards list included minutes and texts; usage beyond them is billed from credit.
