Superhuman Docs
Docs with tables, formulas and automations, formerly Coda

What is Superhuman Docs?
Superhuman Docs, known as Coda until July 2026, is a document workspace where pages mix text with connected tables, formulas, buttons and automations. Teams use it for shared docs, project trackers, knowledge hubs and internal workflows. Billing counts only Doc Makers, the people who create docs; editors and viewers are free.
Superhuman Docs has a free plan. Paid plans start at $12 per Doc Maker / month, billed annually ($15 billed monthly). See every plan
Good for
- Teams that want documents, trackers and lightweight internal tools in one doc
- Workspaces with a few builders and many editors, since editors are not billed
- Organizations already using Superhuman Mail, Go or Grammarly
Worth knowing
- Formerly Coda: the product was renamed Superhuman Docs in July 2026, and existing Coda docs carried over automatically.
- The Free plan limits pages and objects in shared docs, keeps 7 days of version history and gives only trial access to Docs AI and MCP.
- Databases, unlimited automations, doc and page locking and Superhuman Mail start at Business, $33 per Doc Maker / month billed annually.
- On Pro, Grammarly is included with annual billing only. SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning are limited to Enterprise.
Key features
- Docs with tables and views
- Pages combine text with connected tables, views, formulas and buttons, so a single doc can hold a brief, a tracker and a dashboard that draw on the same data.
- Docs AI
- A built-in assistant that drafts pages and builds trackers, tables and dashboards from a prompt. In beta: paid plans get fair-use access and the Free plan a limited number of trials.
- Connectors
- More than 800 integrations sync data in both directions with tools such as Jira, Salesforce and Asana. Refresh is manual on Free, daily on Pro and hourly on Business and Enterprise.
- Automations and forms
- Automation quotas rise from low on Free to medium on Pro and unlimited on Business. Forms are unlimited on every plan; custom branding and conditional logic need Pro.
- Docs MCP
- A Model Context Protocol server lets ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor read from and write to docs. Free workspaces get limited trials; paid plans get fair-use access for Doc Makers.
- Maker billing
- Only Doc Makers, who create docs and manage folders, are billed. Editors, viewers and guest editors invited to individual docs are free on paid plans.
