• The Free plan stops at 10 users and has no private topics, no custom domain and no AI features.
• SAML-based SSO, SCIM, the API and webhooks need Business at $12.50 per user / month billed annually; audit logs are Enterprise only.
• Slab has no read-only accounts: billing counts every user who can log in, and guests are capped at 3 or 5 per user below Enterprise.
• The downloads page offers desktop apps for Mac and Windows and a Chrome extension, but lists no mobile apps.

Real-time collaborative editor

Teammates edit the same page at once and see each other's changes. Pages take embeds from Google Drive, Confluence, Figma, Trello, Airtable and video services.

Slack search and capture

Slash commands and Slack actions search, share and save knowledge without leaving Slack, and people can sign in with their Slack account.

Chrome and Safari extensions

The extensions search the wiki from any web app, by typing a query or highlighting text on a page, and also return results from connected Google Drive and Confluence.

Reviews, must-reads and Q&A

Reviewers and review intervals are assigned to pages or collections, mandatory reads alert people to new content, and unanswered searches can be assigned to a teammate as a question.

Ask AI and auto-answering

The Branded plan adds Ask AI, AI auto-suggestions and a bot that detects questions in up to 3 Slack channels and suggests answers from the knowledge base.

Kipwise Agent

A separately priced AI agent that is mentioned in a Slack thread, acts with the asking person's permissions, cites the page or record it read and sends messages only on request.

Slab

Posts and Topics

Content is written as posts and grouped into Topics, which organize related posts and give readers context. Posts and topics are unlimited on every plan.

Real-time editor and templates

The editor applies consistent formatting by default and lets several people work on a post at once. Templates are included on every plan.

Unified Search

One search box returns results from Slab content and from the tools connected to it, so answers stored elsewhere surface in the same list.

Post verification

A published post can be given a verifier and a review interval. A banner shows who verified it and when that expires, and verifiers are reminded to recheck it.

AI Autofix, Predict and Ask

Slab lists three AI capabilities: AI Autofix from the Startup plan, and AI Predict and AI Ask from Business. The Free plan includes none of them.

Integrations, API and webhooks

Standard integrations such as Slack, GitHub and Google Workspace are capped at 10 on Free. The GraphQL API, webhooks and premium integrations start on Business.
