Worth knowing
Leave Me Alone
- Plan names and prices could not be confirmed: the vendor's pricing page did not load when checked, so only its help center was read.
- Only 10 unsubscribes are free; the help center says it is a paid service after that.
- Proton Mail accounts cannot be connected.
- It is not an email client: it works on your existing mailbox through a web app, and held or blocked mail stays in folders there.
Unroll.Me
- Unroll.Me is owned by NielsenIQ, which accesses your commercial emails and shares information from them with clients for market analysis.
- It handles subscription emails only: each one is kept, blocked or rolled up. The site describes no other inbox tools.
- Supported providers are Gmail, Google Apps, iCloud, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook; other providers are not listed.
- No desktop app is listed; it runs in a browser and as iOS and Android apps.
Key features
Leave Me Alone
- Unsubscriber
- Lists the subscription emails in connected accounts and unsubscribes for you: it sends an unsubscribe request, follows the link's steps automatically or emails the sender to ask for removal.
- Rollups
- Senders you choose are moved out of the inbox and delivered together as one digest email, daily or weekly at a time you set. The originals stay in a folder in your mailbox.
- Screener
- Holds back mail from first-time senders until you allow or block them, and sends a Daily Digest of everything screened in the previous 24 hours.
- Spam Blocker
- Moves spam, cold sales emails and lists you have already unsubscribed from into a folder, using your custom blocklist and a spam check whose strictness you can set. Nothing is deleted.
- Shielded Emails
- Private addresses to hand out instead of your own. Mail sent to them is rolled up, forwarded or unsubscribed, and custom addresses are currently limited to 3.
- Do Not Disturb and Priority Senders
- Schedules hold incoming mail and release it when they end, while Priority Senders always reach the inbox regardless of blocklists, Rollups or schedules.
Unroll.Me
- Subscription list
- Shows the subscription emails found in a connected inbox and updates as new ones are detected, with search to find a particular sender.
- Block
- Blocks unwanted subscription emails, either one at a time or by selecting several, or all of them, in bulk.
- Rollup
- Takes chosen subscriptions out of the inbox and gathers their new mail into one daily digest email.
- Keep and edit
- Subscriptions marked Keep stay in the inbox as normal. Any choice can be changed later from the Subscriptions tab.
- Multiple email accounts
- Several email accounts can be added and managed together. The App Store listing names Gmail, Google Apps, iCloud, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook as supported.
