Value for money
BPro is $9 a month billed yearly, close to the $8 or so planners usually start at, and it lifts every limit. But monthly billing is $19, more than double. The lowest price, $7 a month, means paying for five years at once.
APremium is $49.99 a year, so $4.17 a month, or $5.99 if you pay monthly. That's about half what the typical planner charges. A Family plan covers up to 4 people for $89.99 a year.
Free plan and trial
BBasic is free and has the whole product in it, with limits: 5 goals on each horizon, 10 in each board list, 3 custom boards, 1 Climb at a time and 100 MB of files. Five goals on a horizon fills up fast.
BFree with no time limit, and sharing is included. But it's 1 calendar and 2 custom colors, with no calendar sync, subtasks, repeating tasks or reminders. A to-do list that can't remind you is a tight deal.
Features
AHorizons run from days up to years and life, and goals carry subgoals, notes, files and owners. Boards hold whatever has no date yet, the day can be laid out as a calendar, and Climbs are 100-plus ready-made step-by-step guides. Teams get spaces, assignees and comments on both plans.
AFor a weekly to-do planner it's all here: two-way sync with Google, Outlook and Apple calendars, subtasks, repeating tasks, reminders by push or email, shared calendars and a printable week. No hourly slots, and that's on purpose.
Ease of use
BNo App Store rating on record, so a B is our ceiling. A task, an event, a project and a note are all the same kind of thing here, which keeps it simple once that clicks. Climbs give you a guided way to start on a new goal.
A4.8 from about 1,300 App Store ratings. It's a week of day columns and you list tasks in them. There's no hourly grid to fiddle with.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, iPhone, Android and a Chrome extension, with Apple and Google calendar integration. There's a public API and a command-line client too, so scripts and AI agents can read and write your plan. No native desktop app is listed.
AWeb, iPhone, Android and Mac, plus an API, an MCP server and ChatGPT and Claude apps. No Windows app, and the Mac one needs macOS 12 and an M1 chip or later.

Key features

Timestripe

Horizons
Connected planning views for days, weeks, months, quarters, years and beyond. Big goals sit on longer horizons and are broken into milestones that reach the daily view.
Goals with notes and subgoals
A task, event, project or note is the same kind of object. Each can take a date, an owner, subgoals, tags, files and rich-text notes with embedded content.
Boards
Kanban-style boards hold anything without a date yet, such as backlogs and ideas. Board items can be linked to the planner or scheduled onto Horizons.
Calendar and time blocking
The day's to-do list can be laid out in calendar form to estimate the time each goal needs. The pricing page lists Apple and Google calendar integration.
Climbs
Ready-made step-by-step sequences of goals, with more than 100 guides on topics such as health, fitness and productivity. Basic allows one Climb at a time.
Team spaces, API and CLI
Spaces, a team view, assignees, mentions and comments are on both plans. A public API and a command-line client let scripts and AI agents read and write the plan.

Tweek

Week view without hourly slots
The planner opens on a week of day columns where tasks are simply listed and moved around. A day view is included, and the monthly view is part of Premium.
Calendar sync
Premium syncs both ways with Google, Outlook and Apple calendars and with Apple Reminders, which also lets you add tasks by voice through Siri.
Notes, subtasks and attachments
Premium tasks can carry notes, checklists, subtasks, files and photos, so a task can double as a shopping list or a small project.
Recurring tasks and reminders
Premium tasks can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or on a custom schedule, with reminders by push notification, email or both.
Sharing and publishing
Calendars can be shared for real-time collaboration or published to the web by link. Sharing is free for unlimited users.
Printable planner, API and MCP
The week can be printed as a paper planner. An API, an MCP server and ChatGPT and Claude apps work on the free plan with a lower request quota.
