What is Airtime?

Airtime, the product once called mmhmm, is four video tools under one subscription. Camera adjusts how you look on calls and adds visuals, Recorder makes quick screen and presenter recordings, Creator builds presentations that put the speaker alongside the slides, and Stacks replaces screen sharing with a shared set of materials. It runs as a Mac or Windows app and in the browser, and stays usable with daily and monthly limits once the trial ends.

Airtime has a free plan. Paid plans start at $10 per month, billed annually; $12 billed monthly. See every plan

Good for

  • People who present on Zoom, Teams or Meet and want camera control
  • Recorded updates and demos that show the presenter with the screen
  • Presenters who want to appear alongside their slides

Worth knowing

  • Without a subscription, Camera and Creator are limited to 60 minutes a day and Recorder to 5 recordings a month of up to 5 minutes.
  • Recorder recordings run up to 1 hour each.
  • The desktop apps are for Mac and Windows 10 or 11; the site lists no mobile app.
  • Priority support, a dedicated account team and the SOC 2 report are reserved for Enterprise.

Key features

Camera for video calls
A virtual camera that corrects presenter lighting, applies looks with real, blurred or virtual backgrounds, and shows GIFs, visuals and away screens during a call.
Recorder
Records the presenter, the screen or both from a browser or the desktop app, in high definition for up to 1 hour, with system audio and simple trimming of the start and end.
Viewer-controlled playback
A finished recording is shared as a hosted link or downloaded as an MP4, and the presenter picture can be moved and resized even after publishing.
Creator presentations
A desktop suite that places the speaker and slides in one layout, imports .ppt, .key and .pdf files, and records in chapters that can be rearranged and trimmed.
Stacks for meetings
Materials are gathered into a stack before a meeting so attendees can scan ahead, go back and zoom on their own, and the stack remains after the call.
Team administration
The Team plan adds an admin dashboard, centralized billing and single sign-on with Apple or Google.
