Value for money
AIt costs nothing during early access, and that's the full product. The makers' blog says pricing will come later and no prices have been published, so today's grade may not be tomorrow's.
AThe US App Store lists Pro at $2.99, $6.99 and $7.99 a month and from $9.99 to $39.99 a year, or $99.99 once for life. Even the top yearly price is under half what a typical planner costs over a year. Prices change by region, and Structured publishes no price list.
Free plan and trial
AThe whole product is free while it's in early access, with nothing held back for a paid plan. You do have to join a waitlist to get in. Enjoy it while it lasts, because pricing is on the way.
BFree for good, with the timeline, an inbox, subtasks, notes, notifications, widgets and sync. That's a real planner. But repeating tasks, calendar import, Reminders import and the AI all need Pro, and a day planner without your calendar in it is a tight deal.
Features
BAn hour-by-hour timeline, timers to log what you really did, a nightly review of plan against reality, habits, goals and an AI assistant that proposes tasks for you to approve. Lots for an early product. But Google Calendar is the only calendar it syncs with.
AOne timeline for tasks and events with day, week and month views, an inbox for things not yet scheduled, imports from Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Reminders and Microsoft To Do, repeating tasks, Replan for the ones you missed, and an AI that drafts your day or scans a paper timetable.
Ease of use
BWe have no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is as high as we go. Getting in is the hard part, since the site's only button is a waitlist form. Once you're in, you sign in with Google or Apple.
A4.8 from about 167,000 App Store ratings, which is a huge crowd to keep happy. Your day is a single coloured line you read top to bottom. No manual needed for that.
Platforms and integrations
BWeb, iPhone and Android, with two-way Google Calendar sync. But the site links to no App Store or Google Play listing, and the phone apps are only mentioned in a blog post.
AiPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android and a web app, kept in step by Structured Cloud. It pulls in Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Reminders and Microsoft To Do. No Windows app, and the web version doesn't have every feature of the phone apps yet.

Worth knowing

Key features

Doobies

Timeline day planning
An hour-by-hour timeline shows what is planned and what is open. Tasks carry priorities, time estimates and notes, and can repeat daily, weekly or on custom schedules.
Activity logging with timers
Activities are logged as they happen with start and stop timers and tagged by category. Interruptions can be marked to show where focus is lost.
End-of-day review
A review sets the plan beside what happened. Planning accuracy, completion rate and time allocation are tracked across days and weeks.
Habits and goals
Habits can be set for every day, specific days or a number of times per week and show streaks. Goals are broken into milestones with progress charts.
AI planning assistant
The assistant turns plain-English requests into scheduled tasks and proposes batches of actions to approve or reject. The terms name Anthropic as the AI provider.
Google Calendar sync and templates
Two-way sync with Google Calendar puts events and tasks in one view, and day and week templates can be saved and applied when planning.

Structured

Visual timeline
Tasks and imported calendar events appear on one timeline for the day, with daily, weekly and monthly views and color coding.
Inbox, subtasks and notes
Tasks can wait in an inbox until they are scheduled, and carry subtasks, notes, icons and notifications. All of this is in the free version.
Calendar and Reminders import
Brings in events from Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook and to-do lists from Apple Reminders and Microsoft To Do. Requires Structured Pro.
Recurring tasks and Replan
Repeat tasks on a schedule, and use Replan to move missed tasks onto another day. Both are Pro features.
Structured AI
Drafts a daily schedule and can scan a physical planner or timetable into the timeline. Requires Structured Pro.
Sync across devices
Structured Cloud sync shares data and Pro access between Apple devices, Android and the web app, and the Apple Watch app shows the schedule on your wrist.
