2.8GPAHabitify
Free plan · from $29.99/yr
For: Most people
Habitify lays habits out across the day with reminders and shows how consistently you keep them through a calendar, streak counts and completion rates. It runs on iPhone, Android, Mac and the web, and the free plan syncs between them. On the US App Store, Plus is $29.99 a year for unlimited habits, and Pro is $49.99 a year with calendar and health app sync, automation and API access. Its iPhone and iPad app averages 4.6 from about 7,100 ratings. Know the limits: the free plan stops at 3 active habits and 1 reminder per habit, Plus is sold by the year only, and the vendor's web pricing page shows a different offer, a single Premium plan at $2.49 a month billed annually or $59.99 once.
The Habitify Insider’s Guide2nd
3.4GPAFinch
Free plan · from $5.99
For: People who want to pay nothing and like a game-like reward
Finch ties daily goals to a virtual pet bird: checking off goals and self-care activities earns energy that sends the bird on adventures, alongside guided reflections, mood check-ins, breathing exercises and a focus timer. The core features are free on iPhone and Android, and its iPhone and iPad app averages 4.9 from about 760,000 ratings. It is second because it is a self-care app more than a plain tracker, and it runs on phones only: no web or desktop version is listed. Finch Plus adds more reflection prompts, activities and timer options, and the App Store lists it from $5.99 to $69.99 without billing periods, so check the offer shown in the app before subscribing.

3.0GPATable Habit
Free
For: People who want a free tracker with no account, on phone and desktop
Table Habit is a free, open-source habit tracker with every feature on Android, iPhone, Mac, Windows and Linux and no ads, in-app purchases or account. Each habit earns a score that rises as you keep to it, for habits to build and habits to avoid, with a check-in heatmap and charts on each habit's page. It works offline, and devices can sync through a WebDAV server such as Nextcloud or Koofr. It is third because it asks more of you than the two above: that server is the only way to sync and you provide it yourself, home screen widgets are not yet released, and there is no web version. It is a one-person project supported by donations.

Keep or make?
Which are worth paying for, and which you could make yourself
3
Simple enough to make yourself, of 44

It does something you could not reasonably make for yourself, or it costs nothing.
26
