How we grade them

Value for money
BPro is $10 a month billed yearly, or $14 month to month. That's around the middle for a planner. It buys an 8-week scheduling range, priorities, task dependencies, unlimited lists and the API.
COne plan at £18 a month with everything in it. It's priced in pounds only, and that's the dear end for a planner, where the typical one is about $8. The only yearly price is the Founding 250 membership at £180.
Free plan and trial
BBasic is free forever with unlimited auto-reschedules, and calendar sync is in. But it plans only 2 weeks out, with 1 set of scheduling hours, 3 repeating auto-scheduled tasks and 5 lists.
CNo free plan. You get 14 days free with no card needed to start, which is fair, and then it's £18 a month.
Features
AIt places tasks in free time from their due dates and lengths, splits them around events, and rebuilds the plan when something moves. Two-way sync with Google, Outlook.com and iCloud, plus Todoist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do and Apple Reminders.
BIt breaks work into minute-sized steps, plans them up to your daily deep-work hours, reschedules what slips overnight, and adds deep-work blocks around your meetings. Promising. But it's a beta, and the site says more integrations are still coming.
Ease of use
A4.8 from about 430 App Store ratings. You don't drag blocks around: it fills the calendar itself, and a Recalculate button puts missed tasks back.
BWe have no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is as high as we go. You type, speak or upload what's on your plate and the plan comes back made. Bear in mind it's beta software.
Platforms and integrations
AWeb, iPhone and Android, with calendar and task-app sync, and an API, MCP server and Zapier on Pro. There's no native desktop app, so on a computer it lives in the browser.
BA web app with a Windows desktop beta, hooked into Google and Outlook calendars, Granola notes and AI assistants over MCP. The Mac app is awaiting Apple's approval, and the download page lists no phone apps.

Key features

FlowSavvy

Auto-scheduling
Places tasks into open time on the calendar based on due dates and durations, and can split a task around events. Basic plans 2 weeks ahead and Pro 8 weeks.
Automatic rescheduling
The schedule is rebuilt whenever an event or task changes, and a Recalculate button puts missed tasks back on the calendar. Reschedules are unlimited on both plans.
Scheduling hours
Sets of hours such as work or personal define when tasks may be scheduled. Basic includes one set; Pro allows unlimited profiles.
Calendar sync
Two-way sync with Google Calendar, Outlook.com and iCloud on both plans. Writing FlowSavvy tasks back to those calendars is a Pro feature.
Priorities and dependencies
Pro adds priority levels and dependency chains for tasks that must follow an order. On the free plan, tasks are prioritized by due date.
Task app sync, API and MCP
Syncs tasks with Todoist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do and Apple Reminders. A public API, an MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude, and Zapier are Pro-only.

Koala For Work

Task breakdown
Work described in your own words comes back as smaller steps sized in minutes, at a size you choose (small, medium or large). Any step can be adjusted.
A day planned to your capacity
Steps are planned across your days up to the deep-work hours you set. Whatever slips is rescheduled by the next morning, and a daily brief opens the day.
Deep-work blocks in your calendar
With Google or Outlook Calendar connected, Koala adds deep-work blocks around meetings, and clears a missed block to find it another time.
Deadline and backlog view
Every action shows its deadline and progress, a deadline that will not fit is flagged early, and the backlog shows how many weeks of work are waiting.
Focus toolkit
The workspace can be set up with timers, checklists, notepads and focus music, choosing only the tools you want to see.
AI assistant and meeting-note connections
Koala connects over MCP so Claude or another AI assistant can read the plan, add work and log what is finished. Granola meeting notes can become actions.
